View Full Version : WW speed, each claw independant?
WW is something I still dont have a full udnerstanding of. Does the attack have both claws hit independantly based on their specific ias, or does it take the average to decide the frame? I have a runic chaos, but am looking at a very nice warfist fools (I know I cant use the fools mainhand due to trap lay with this, but if i don't mind that XD) but the warfist has no inerhint ias, and can only have one socket. Will I still hit 4 frames ias since a runic is -30 with 35 ias on it, well over the required speed, even averaged out? Or will only chaos hit 4 frames and my fools hit a mere 8. Thanks hehe
ias outside the weapon does not work with ww, this includes ias from your other weapon when determining a singel claws attack breakpoint. Shroll down to whirlwind frame breaks here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=229326) and have a look at the examples.
just basicly:
claw_base_speed - on_weapon_ias = modified WSM
if modified wsm is -13 or lower then you have the last breakpoint for ww.
ok so a warfist with 0 ias on it and only 1 socket possible, is doomed to never hit better than 6 fps with ww?

Correct, need 23+ ias on warfist for 4 frame bp.
