I'm lost understanding all the abbreviations used in these posts!!!!! I want to know what they all mean, things like "trapsin" "kicksin", etc.! Found a link for that earlier, but I can't find it again! Any help is appreciated!
trapsin: http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=513
kicksin: kickers in general use other skill too, don't know a guide for a pure on atm, but anyway look inte the guide sticky and you should find something atleast: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=126543
Saw you other thread, and read there that you used TS mainly? If so then cheak out the Dragon tail (dtail) using guides.
this one is also a good read if you're doing things on a low budget: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=198363

Thanks for the links! I'm doing single player, no battlenet yet. Mostly I've used blades of ice b/c i like the freezing aspect of that. Just having a horrible time trying to get through the seal bosses to get to Diablo. And then to make it worse, I can hardly understand all the abbreviations!!!! Feel like a complete noob! And I'm finding a lot of players like kicking, which i haven't done a lot of yet. Plus, other players are using other weapons that aren't claws.....wonder if i've set up my assassin poorly!
here's the abbrevation explenations: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=538888
oh and run the countess (bottom of the tower act 1 black march) for the runes you need for a "malice" (ith el eth iirc) claw, makes things hell of a lot easier in normal.
You should have one point in Cloak of Shadows and use it whenever you're up against packs of monsters like those just before Diablo. Everyone agrees that it's one of the best 1-pointers in the game for PvM. It lasts for like 8 seconds, which is long enough, but be sure to recast it as it is ending. You could also use a 1-point Blade Fury, which where you're at now will just own everything with much ease.
