sorry, i cant read ias charts, plz help

so say im making a kicker, this is my ias/skills

max BoS/Venom/Talon/Mastery/(rest into fade)

45 ias weapon/or 40 ias, not sure which to pick
15 in shield
15 in helm

would either 1 give me max speed with kicking or not? how much ias do i need total to get max kick speed?

As for the info you gave, the base weapon needs to be known to, a claw is commonly faster then other weapons etc ... though I bet maxed BoS + all that ias gear is overkill anyway, no matter what you choose to use.

Don't max BoS, it isn't necessary. Neither are all those IAS jewels. If you want to know how to hit the breakpoint post your kicking weapon.

BTW - You know you can't use fade and BoS at the same time right?

well, im torn between a few items...

DoomZerk for the cold aura. 367% ed, 45 ias, very nice with a fortitude
Razors edge for 40 ias, 50 deadly strike 50 open wounds
Fury/Jade Talon(up'd bartucs maybe or another fury)
Grief might be suprisingly good
Beast weapon maybe?

if i can reach max ias, without BoS and use fade, that would be ahuge bonus, but i dont know what i will use, not going with chaos, i got a wwsin

Lemme recommend another weapon not on ur list..
Fleshripper
25% Crushing Blow
33% Deadly Strike
50% Open Wounds
Slows Target By 20%
It's an sick kicker wep. Um it for more ow.
Doom would be nice in stash vs. smiters as you'll have lots of trouble w/ 'em.
Also, use Bramble or Enigma over Fort. Although if this is related to ur other post... i think ur using Coh or GA.

Most of these are silly kicking weapons. ED on weapon doesn't do anything for kicks, neither does DS/CS.

purely PvP...and enhanced dmg doesnt help kicking at all? ds and cs doesnt either? how about a grief for 500 dmg kicks with 5 kicks in a row...would that work?


Edit: your wrong on ED, it says in link you gave me that kicks are affected CB/ED, ed can work from a fortitude, not from weapon, so my doom is flopped xcept maybe smiters and bowzons for running away

He said ED on wep doesn't work w/ kicks.. which is true. Fort or Fanat from a Beast is considered off wep ED which does work w/ ur footsies.

And sadly no..Griefs add'l dmg doesn't add to kicks :sad2: Open wounds is huge in pvp when u hit high lvls, crushing blow isn't, critical strike from claw mastery doesn't apply either as u stated.

so what would be the end all weapon i would mainly use for my kicker? fleshripper/SS? (also i cant find anyone that owns a fleshripper so if you do ill buy it) =P

if i use fleshripper, it has no ias, so how much ias do i need with fade to get it max speed kicking?

I haven't done PvP much, but Fury in an greater talon would probably a better weapon. You'd only need 6% more IAS to reach 7/3 kicks, using fade. With a shaeled fleshripper, you'd still need 48% extra IAS. A greater talon might give some useful bonusses to skills as well.

That would be easiliy stacked, and grief might override your own venom (I would have to check this). So it's not necessarily a good thing.

Yes..a fury runic would also be a nice choice. Even a chaos runic would do well... both are fast on a sin and have nice mods for kicks. An um'd wizspike is nice as it'll get u 50% more fcr in a fairly fast weapon. Also death's web is nice to w/ +2skills and -50 to enemy's psn res (does wonders for venom). Yeah a greif phase has decent mods -25% psn, 30-40ias but it's a waste given the un-usable +dmg and would be served better on another char.
You should put whatever u can afford in stash and try them out.

For my kicker I simply had 2 weapons and 2 boots in stash to swap for PvP/PvM use. For PvM I used Last Wish PB + upped Gores. For PvP I swapped in a Beast Zerk + 'dancers. Play around with different setups and find what works best for you.
