How does this mod work for ar? Given it adds a %, is the % applied after all other modifiers, ie claw mastery, WW bonus, etc, or is it added in the same way mastery is, like having the %'s combined?

afaik it works on your base AR. Visionary mod is not THAT useful on wwsins if you refer to these.

Nice-to-have, but there are more important things e.g. on a circlet =)

I believe the %age bonus adds directly to any %age of Claw Mastery or Whirlwind. It's useful, since most WW hybrids only spend 1 point in Claw Mastery, and the WW oskill is only slvl 1 with any +skills, so a Visionary mod could very well be around about a 1.5 times boost to your total AR.

from what I know, that's not true.

visionary mods are very important on circlets for wwsins.

on my build assuming 1pt into cmastery (lvl 90)

no visionary circlet no fools = about 4k ar
visionary circlet no fools = about 5k ar

no visionary circlet w/ fools = 8-9k ar
visionary circlet w/ fools = 11-12k ar

in most of the circumstances the benefit it substantial, but seeing as 2sin/20fcr visionaries rarely occur good luck finding one. it took me about 3 months to get mine.

ok, didnt know that the benefit is that much.

oh, and 3 months for a good rare circ aint even that long :)
