Blizz or ES-ORB?
And a question about the es sorc- do you max block with this build, or just leave it alone? I need a safe hell mephisto popper.

Hands down most efficient sorc for untwinked cheap getting-to-meph only: TK/es/Orb, max block, decent fcr, pts into teleport and a slow/decrep weapon on a defiance merc (i.e. kelpie snare/Reaper's toll).
if you can teleport without losing all your mana max block is useless.

Im partial to the MeteOrb'er myself ...
103 FCR - max Orb , 17 Cold Mastery after skills , Max meteor , max Fireball , maxx Fire mastery ....
Act2 Nm Defensive merc - big insight stick
Run Hell Meph over and over , get rich and , pwn all the Stoopid *** Dooping punks that infest Bnet !!

Well... thanks for the ideas. Right now, a friend of mine is making a sorc specifically to teleport my assassin into the durance, so it doesn't matter to much what I build.
I have a blizz sorc right now, I like her, but I was mainly concerned if the es-orb thing actually *works* well. I've heard from some that it does, and some that it's totally crap.
Either way, that's what my friend decided to build, so I guess I will know soon enough :D

If you don't get hit, you also don't need to put a single point in vitality, or max out your resists, or get a Merc...
You know what else is useless? Hardcore gameplay advice that's prefaced by, "If you don't get hit."

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Because you're going to get hit eventually.
Especially a porter sorc. I've played these things a lot. And they... get hit... like everything else..

Max block is for tanking meph's cold ball, lag spikes, general safety, and getting from 1-75 alive.
Edit: Sorry, didn't notice you'd already been pwned by PhatTrumpet, rendering my post unnecessary.

However FBR is still required, instead of getting locked in the animation you will now just not block if you don't have FBR.
I suppose not playing for a couple years will do that to a person, thanks to all the people who so kindly put that in here for me, instead of blowing it out of proportion and screaming nubcake. :rolleyes:
