gettin a 4 soc scythe question

I know that if you find an item with a low enough mlvl or something like that, the number of sockets larzuk can give it are limited. Where could I go to find a scythe that would get 4 sockets from larzuk? Norm cows maybe? or early nightmare? (trying to make infinity)

Norm cow is certainly a very good place to hunt for it.

Yes, norm cows. In fact, that's where I found my ethereal scythe. And FYI, Larzuk did add 4 sockets to it. So, good luck!
