RL: Dreamweaver class. Meh. Not bad, but not too great either. Our regular teacher (Mrs. Evil), was away, so we had Rob, one of our other teachers, and he's awesome. I've also got a couple assignments to work through. Joy.

D2: Haven't been doing too much, really. I got the titan ogre-barb to level 7, twinked on sigons set, and a plain giant axe, and went around bashing things nicely. As for the CL/FO sorceress, got a new staff of ownage +1 (Chromatic ire) through a trade, and am looking forward to using that. I may actually need to put points into energy, as chain lightning takes around 22-25, depending on my gear, and FO takes around 30, and considering mana hangs around 170, it doesn't take much before she needs a potion. Did find a wall of the eyeless, which was nice.

Anyways, I need to head home (no internet there :cry: ) so I'll see you lot tomorrow. Have a good one all!

RL: Darn work and other RL things couldn't just dissappear into nothingness while I was on vacations so its crazy. Still feel like I'm a week behind at work. Also ordered a new laptop. That was actually a bit depressing, I had been harboring hope that my old one would turn up and replacing it feels alot like giving up on it to me.

D2: I had a change of heart. I've gone to my 6 month old backups. I haven't actually played in a few days. I'm currently going through a long list of trades (only actually about 8) and deleting all items that I traded away. The only part that was real ugly was the runes, since there's no fingerprint I deleted all of any runes the I traded away (i.e. all Ums, all Amns, all Sols ect) the total came to over 900 runes. I'm basically done but I've got 5 items that I know I traded away that I can't find. Most likely they were all items I've found since but I'm just doing everything I can to make sure first.

I also said goodbye to ShieldMaiden today. Having a lvl 99 char in your menu is cool but having her around at 98 when I know I've reached 99 with her just didn't sit well so I gave her a few items that I got especially for her (CtA, her fancy HHG shield, a Harpoonist of Vita and her Lancer's of Alacrity. Then I deleted her. That actually felt quite fitting and wasn't depressing at all.

Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have everything all sorted out and can get back to playing again.

Wednesday: real slow day at work. Mostly reading up on D2 forums.

D2 Tuesday night: My MF Fishymancer managed to find a Naj's light plate and Titans. :smiley:

Also, I got a zealer slowly getting through Nightmare. I really need to find him a decent weapon though. Will have to brave the pits a few more times with my Necro tonight to see what I can find for him.

RL: The day started with a todo list containing two entries. Within 10 minutes at my office, this increased to 5 entries. Duh. I hope there isn't more to come.

D2: My abbot-to-be rescued normal Anya. He now wears an Iron Pelt and at least in normal is invulnerable (unless he meets some conviction boss or such, I guess). The merc does well, too... but since he doesn't have that much DR, he relies more on his healing rate than on taking no damage. I guess I'll finish normal this evening and then go back to my green necro, I have to catch up with Insane Wayne ... or die ;) A2 hell will be one of the most difficult parts for him: low resists and lightning from those bugs as well as the narrow places in the maggot lair and the arcane sanctuary. A3 will be a lot more easy if I manage to reach it.

RL: Well the MRI came up 'normal'. Which surprised me as the Fracture Clinic said I had two torn ligaments. Why is my ankle swelling? "The MRI looks ok in that area, try physio." So ... good news no ops but no definite timescale for normality. Should I use it normally or what? "Oh don't do anything that hurts." Like walking presumably. :rolleyes:

D2: Oh yes! After I find where I hid Blain's gear.

RL: Work as usual. I did find out that I'm getting to go to a conference though...so I guess that means they won't fire me anytime soon :grin:

D2: Working my Meteorb through Act2 NM...slowly. I don't get much playing time as is, so I found myself teleporting past quite a bit just to hit the manditory quests...I should probably not do that seeing as she's not twinked and I'll probably need the levels...

I cannot get NM Andy to drop any rings at all...it's getting me a little irritated...ending on a good note though...NM Countess did drop a Hel rune :badteeth: What's the highest rune she can drop in NM?

RL: Taxes must be done and they're my problem. *groan* Sounds like an accounting function to me but all I get is "You did so well previously that you can do them again. And oh! By the way, here's the forms for our other locations as well." Seems to me I should have done a crappy job and then I wouldn't be stuck with them!

D2: I was almost late to work so my Zon could take on the Ancients. She did very well and the Merc too. She is now poised on the steps of the WSK. With luck, she'll make it to Hell tonight.

D2 - Playing my fury druid through NM. Atm he is lvl 56, and prebuffed he shifts at lvl30. He stays in his wereform longer than the durability lasts on his weapon. Cuts through everything now, but I suppose its expected for NM.

@jjscud: So sorry to hear about your laptop. I didn't read past posts to find out how you lost it, but that must mean a lot of gear you've lost.

RL: I've not really felt like working the last week or so. I've been talking a lot with my Father who lives in Arizona. He was recently admitted into a care facility, diagnosed wiht Jaundice. Turns out that from all the years of drinking (he'll only be 55 in April), his liver is on its last legs. His physical therapy is going well, but he hates being in a place like that (lots of older people moaning and groaning). He has a appt. tomorrow with a liver specialist, so hopefully we'll have some more answers soon as to his health.

I did see Salvo in the member list today...haven't seen him around in a long time. Welcome back salvo.

D2: Been struggling with those melee Baal runs. I just can't seem to get it down under 5 minutes. I think my shortest run so far out of about 30 is 5:15 (315 sec). I haven't had much interest in playing other characters either. I did some (maybe 20) Pindle runs the other day with my Meterob...boring. I've still got a Charged Boltress in Act3 Normal that I haven't played in awhile. I still would like to do some more runs with my Enigmadin, but those runs to tend to get boring.

D2: Started my way through NM Act 5 on my blizzsorc. Got Wartravs from Meph, so today's shaping up to be a good day! Unfortunately, I don't have the STR for them. I had to downgrade a ring, and sorta 'prebuff' 10 more points to equip them. :X Hopefully I can still get max block if I put more points in str. Toying with the idea of starting a char more tailored to zone clears, rather than boss runs, for those charms, runes, and socketables. On a less happy note, I wasted my socketing quest by putting the wrong item in my occulus. >.< Using a hel rune to unsocket it isn't really worth it at this point, short of an ist or a nice jewel.

RL: the Dr has said the baby with be here with in a month (he'll induce before then) but I can go anytime now. The taxes have been done (since Jan) but there's still so much to do to get ready!!!

D2: I've discovered that if I pad my chair with pillows I can spend the 3 to 4 hours we used to spend at a time playing. We've been working with the 'sin/'zon combo but goltar has also been running a metorb through (and having darn good luck!)

But I actully found another set of Natalya's boots, and well... they had worse stats but sold for more? Why would that be?

D2: Not much lately. Just haven't felt like playing I guess. Though I did start a new sorc the other day.

RL: Last night I played Poker in the Aust Poker League. It was the season's last night, and I was nowhere near a high rank so I just played casually, and I came fourth for the night. Not bad. My friend Brian has been struggling the last five or six weeks to overtake the lead player (who hasn't played since week 7, it's now week... 14?) and he *finally* managed it. So he was worried that the guy would come back one night, trounce him and take it off him again.
That guy got knocked out one hour in. Brian got knocked out 30 mins later. Brian was ecstatic. He won a 50cm LCD High Def TV and free entry into the state-wide $30,000 prize money game.
I got to be beaten by a Royal Flush, so that's something at least. (At least I wasn't the only one, and I actually had the *otherwise* highest hand!)

D2: I came home on a high so I ran Pindle til I was tired. Found the unique Legend Spike, so I was happy. Took a lot of runs tho, with very low returns. (I like to get one set or unique every 4-7 drops. It was more like 12-15 last night.)
Played a little more this morning... and only found Bing Sz Wang, which says a lot. New map? Might be time.
Also, I have decided to go back to 1.09 and finish levelling my assassin, to 99.
At least that way I can achieve it.
