Quick question about cold armors!

Does +cold damage work for cold armor damage?
Does -cold resist work for cold armor? <-- Does cold mastery lower resist by hitting cold armor?

+ cold damange does not add on the cold armor damage it deal out, it's a fixed damage for each certain level of your cold armor,

cold mastery apply to any cold damage your sorc deal, include cold spells (orb, blizzard) melee attack with cold damage and also cold damage from your cold armor

If by "+cold damage" you actually mean the +% cold skill damage (i.e. the mod found on Facets), then yes, that mod does work for the cold damage done by cold armors because they are cold skills.
