the info at Arreat Summit is incorrect, anyone know where they got it right?

You have to test it yourself. The things on Arreat Summit don't calculate in synergies and don't go past level 20.

it seems a fully synergized lvl 40 frost nova does 830-937 damage.
But you can always get some +cold damage from nightwings and stuff to boost it a bit.
The mana cost is pretty damn high as with normal nova, so a insight merc is kinda a must to have.

lol my mistake, i was looking at the damage of frost nova at lvl 1, and i didn't realize the 20 pts in orb were making it that high...
