Well, I'm back from paintballing, my balls are intact and I pwned some asses, tho got a big bruise on my thigh. Caught a few in my helmet (everyone did, coz thats really the only thing that comes out from behind the cover, bar weapon). We were all covered in mud, but didn't give a crap about it :)

And guess what... it was TWENTY (20!!!) celcius in both Edinburgh and Glasgow!! How awesome :)

Damn it! Just died with my HoolaBandoola who weared some really valuable stuff, like anni, torch, hoto, 2 sojs, arach and shako. :( I don't understand, I had max block and 75 fire res and I just teleported into a small bosspack of venom lords. I still have my Pettson though...

RIP Hoola :(. Venom Lords have a pretty strong melee attack. Did you learn nothing of Derimacheia's demise? :whistling:

Regarding the issue about trade rating not showing anymore: The rating is showing in the trade values forum. Have anyone tested if its possible to rate from there (I haven't traded in new ladder myself yet, becourse I have just started and haven't anything to trade so far...)

It has, HR's ratio is up to ~3x times better than it was before. It scales with the rarity of runes afaik.

Bummer. More drop rates means a drop in price which means a strain on my money making skills to just gieb-away to the general public. I know people are still benefiting but it's to crabby for my liking :(

Hope you get well soon TBC :nod: Of all the things that supposed to be effective against cold, I suggest garlic and cognac - I know, it doesn't work, but at least it taste good ;)

Regarding the "competition" europe vs us-east; we are now only 236 threads from taking the lead here (the difference was almost 1000 only some months ago), so keep posting - and we will soon be in the lead!

Everybody has his own recipe for cold - I always chop an onion and put it into small bottle, squeeze a lemon in it and and add 3 spoons of honey. Everybody has his own recipe.

Prague is severely over-japanesed and over-spaghettized in the season, it cannot be helped. But its the city of this years ETF gathering :thumbup:
The LEM has really been the highest rune found since I returned to d2 in 2008. But I never actually focused on running for items in general. This ladder however I began a goldfind build so I am curious.

What happend to the FTs here on ETF?!?

I remember when I started trading here there was a lot more action and I think it was due to the FTs. Nowadays people leave a closeable offer running for a day or so. In the old days the seller would say your offer is closeable and I'll let it run for a day, but here's my FT if you really wants it!

I mean I have nothing against that a closeable offer runs for a day or so, but I think we lose quite a few traders by not having any FTs here (sure I know there's FTs around, but it's not that common). One can get almost anything on idiot.net within a day.

I understand that the truely unique items shouldn't have a FT, but common items like shako, mara etc. have a price that more or less all agree opon.

Also I understand that this should be a calm and nice trading forum, but FTs wouldn't make this forum different.

What's your thought about this? Evidently the forum has slowed down quite a bit the last years.

No exactly off topic but there is a good indication that the market is being flooded with duped Bers (in particular).

Caveat Emptor if you insist on trading when they're being offered at ridiculous prices (sometimes as low as 6-8 Ist) on bnet and other places.

Well, it could be a smart move by someone who wishes to BUY for that.

Don't know about SC. On HC botting is still present but the duping seems to be quite ok. Far off from beeing as bad as the last few seasons.

As it is now, I hope Netherland kicks Brazil's butt on friday (given they beat Chile), and when they do, the final will be Netherlands vs Spain / Argentina / Germany. I really don't dare betting which of those 3 makes it honestly...

The match with ARG + ENG you played really nice and again I say I enjoyed it. Your coach is kinda homo but hell he coaches much better than the dwarf :)

Hi everyone, some might remember be, or might not, I just fired up diablo2 again yesterday and I'm wondering If we still have a ETF channel, and who remembers me so to hook up again and do some questing together.

Germany has been my favourite team, Oezil and Myller a joy to watch; It always strikes me how much Oezil eye's look like a pair of protruding goldfish eyes...

I was really, really pissed off when Slovakia beat out the Italiens, undeservedly so. Because when the Italiens played 8 minute of good football they scored 3 times, (1 offside)....

And I'd rather have seen Japan win against Uruguay, because I for some reason really really dislike Uruguay.

Not nice at all. This match was absolutely boring with only one goal. I was not entertained at all compared to NL-URG. As I posted on FB - such poor perfomance is exactly why I and many others watch football so little.

However what was with the Germans yesterday?
If the Spaniards keep playing ugly like this they gonna win the title :(

Well yeah you didn't see many goals. But the game was very interesting. Tactical football at it's best :smug:

Yeah actually the match yesterday was pretty good, if you're knowledge of football is upto scratch. Germany know that their best tactics are to sit deep and counter attach in numbers which is what they tried to do (they did the same when they crushed England and destroyed the Argies).
Thing is, they tried to do what Paraguay and Portugal did...defend and counter attack vs Spain. They did this better than the other teams because they counter attacked with more numbers (not like Portugal who tried to do it only with Ronaldo).
They also singled out Villa and tried to keep him quiet and for the most part they got their tactics correct, only to be outdone by an excellent set piece. Had that not gone in, and the game went into extra time, I think it would have suited the Germans (knowing that they would probably edge it in penalties).
Spain knew that they would sit deep and told their players to pressure the Germans who surrendered possession somewhat easily. Overall I think Germany were outclassed by a far superior team that can pass pass pass and retain possession from ze (the) Germans.
Germany were amazing though, they weren't expected to go that far into the competition, until Paul the Psychic Octopus predicted their downfall.

I MUST give a shoutout to New Zealand though. You have to think about this objectively. Here's a side - part timers, bankers, farmers, postmen and they went through the group stages UNDEFEATED and within ONE point of qualification into the last 16!

All in all, I am hoping for Holland. Not to badmouth Spain or anything I just fancy the Netherlands just that extra 1%

I'll be cheering on the Dutch, but if Spain wins then fair play, I don't mind as they play really good football! I've been supporting Oranje on every tournament they participated at since 1998 World Cup. This is the time for glory :)

From what I've seen, Spain had twice as many chances and Holland was very lucky that de Jong's hasn't seen red for the most brutal foul I can recall in the championship. Holland had to make a lot of tactical fouls and because the Spanish players usually pass the ball before going into a tackle, they Dutch made so many brutal sliding tackles.

I agree that the referee made a couple of bad decisions, but not because of showing so much yellow, but (among other bad decisions) because of not showing enough of it. Holland should have got another 1-2 reds, Spain one as well and Spain should have received a penalty.

What I didn't like in particular were the endless debates with the referee, even after most obvious fouls, it looked a lot like an attempt to brainwash the referee. I hate that nearly as much as rolling. Also, it was ridiculous to freak out because Spain scored a goal after Holland didn't get an obvious corner a minute before. The ball had to go over the complete field afterwards, so they received a goal because they didn't pay enough attention, not because they didn't get a corner.

It was a rather boring game, but Spain deserved to win. Congratulations! I didn't favour any of the two teams BTW.

It was corner and immediately after a foul against Elia, both of them were deemed unworthy of whistle from Webb, and the Dutch went into uproar and in the mean time Spain made counter-attack against confused defense so Holland and scored (and there even might've been an offside).

It's funny how Iniesta's assault on dutch player after ref's whistle for some foul (which was not unlike Zidane's on last WC) goes unmentioned by spanish fans. That should've been a red card too and then there would be no goal in 118. minute

Krishan actually mentioned that one. But then again if De Jong would have gotten the dark red card he deserved I don't think it would have gotten this far. Holland would never have been able to defend the remaining 65 minutes against Spain with 1 man less. So I really don't see how the Dutch fans can blame this on the ref. If anything they should thank him for not taking them out of the game when Alonso got karatekicked. And you can't blame the ref either for Robbens inability to score.
