Pure Fire sorc good mf'er?

I don't know if they make good mf'ers as I don't play pure fire sorcs. I do know they will kill Andy very quickly though I'm not sure about Mephy, Blizz is usually best for him. If you build it you'll want to put 1 point in Static Field and have a good merc to help kill fire immunes.

and a point in Glacial Spike. your only main worry becomes fire-immune frenzytaur with their damn CBF (the ones in the WSK for example)

fire kill all bosses very easy

but there is no reason why go full fire...

if u go fire/frozen orb in the end u will be only 4 points short to the maxed fire (assuming u take teleport, static field, and frozen armo)
which is if i take +15all skills and +8 fire skill fireball dmg
full pure fire - 18 511
with orb - 16940
difference is 1571 dmg which is hardly worth not being able to kill 1/3 of monsters in game....

and of course u can get full fire and only 16lvl frozen orb....

to question - meph andy is ok but u cant go many many other places

basically, yea what OSto said...

ur only going to use either fireball or metoer... so those 2 plus fire mastery... ur golden to go to FO dont bother with a cold armor.. thats a waste.. tele def points there and static... static is ur best freind... espcially with a single build so ur can give ur merc some help...

I agree with what OsTo has said here. There is little reason to go pure fire on a pvm sorceress. You will face many fire immunes throughout hell. If you go Meteor/Orb you only lose a little bit of effectiveness with your fire spells but gain the ability to deal with the fire immunes.

I prefer fire sorcs for mf. Like you asked about bosses Andy/meph. Fire sorc's can take down easily. (Aswell as Blizzard but its a personal preferance.)

I started d2 again and made a fire sorc. Still my main mfer. Full tals , Travs , Magefists and 2x Soj.

And this build is finished at a lowish lvl. At around 84 iirc. Mine is level 87. And does 10k Fireball dmg with no torch. No bo. And one skiller.
