i recently found a 4os monarch and got a 31% FCR +90 to mana spirit, i was just wondering, do people actually use monarch spirit on sorcs? it requires a whopping 156 str stat points. do people usually go for this or have +str gears

Usually, people use the strength bug for a Spirit Monarch.

You can't str bug the spirit monarch, it doesn't have +str on it. You can, however, use gear with +str such as anni, torch, war travs, etc. You make up the missing str by using hard points, of course.

Hard points of strength are far more useful than hard points of vita anyway. Think of it this way...a 2 strength sc vs. a 20 life sc. The 2 strength sc saves you 2 hard points. The 20 life sc saves you 10(1 vita = 2 life). Use those hard points for strength, don't fret over vita points for a PvM sorcy until your gear needs are met.
