PVP Light sorc question

Hi, currently i am using

1) griffon (+5/5)
2) Maras
3) COH
4) SOJS
5) Spider
6) Trek
7) Spirit
8) Eschuta (+5/5)
9) Magefist

My skills are all syns of lighting less nova by abit.
Max - Charge Bolt
Max - Lighting
Max - Chain Lighting
10 - Nova
1 - ES
1 - TS

But some how i just could go into PVP.. i tried fighting face to face with another light sorc.. But my lighting just could't hit her at all.. y is tat so?

Lightning is VERY easy to absorb, and most folks aren't too proud to exploit this "feature" in the game. Stacked resists, Tgods, and a single Wisp Projector can make you completely lightning immune. Same goes for fire. Frozen Orb can suffer the same fate, though it's up there with the most damaging spells in the game. The only Sorc spell that I've NEVER seen someone endure more than 2-3 of is Blizzard.
