Hydra and facets?

Do fire facets work with hydra? I want to make a hydra orb sorc to mf in hell.Dont like meteor tried it dont like blizzard tried it to.So if facets work i have 1 4/4 fire facet so far but dont want to use it if hydra doesnt work with it.

I'm not big up on my facet game mechanics but I'd say no just out of common sense. Things that count as minions (traps included) don't get the bonuses of facets. Since that fire facet is additive with your mastery, its probably not gonna shine on this char anyway.

They are also untargetable by enchant so that makes them even less minion like. They are in the minion class but they really don't follow the rules well.

I think Hydra is closer to Frozen Orb than to traps. Its the same but more stupid and does not move... so my bet is facets work with hydra
