Nobody talks about stats

I am kinda pissed that nobody talks about stats in this game
I just started playing this game(although i played it 5 times before) and i want to make a Blizz Mf sorc. Please help on skills and items and mostly stats. Thanks

The reason why nobody talks about them is that for most people the stats are like this (regardless of character, save a few like the glass cannon zon):
str - enough for gear
dex - enough for gear or maxed block
vit - everything else
erg - none

You can pretty much break it down like this:

Energy shield sorc:

Str: minimum to use gear
Dex: Zero
Vita: 0-80 depending on which guide you read. Some advocate enough to get like 800 life with BO others say zero.
Energy: All rest

Normal caster sorc:

Str: minimum to use gear
Dex: Zero
Vita: All rest
Energy: Zero

Block sorc:

Str: minimum to use gear
Dex: minimum to max block
Vita: All rest
Energy: Zero

Stats are in many occusions not so black/white on a sorceress.
Where str and dex are pretty obvious, it kinda depends on the es% how you should divide energy and vita. I always use the following calculator:

Search for "manashield calculator" in google and go to the toplink. Fill in your endgame es% and your tk lvl (wich always should be 20 imho if you use es).
Also fill in if you have some dtm% on your gear.
Then found out what mana/life ratio will give you the most effective hp.
Mind that the calculator doesn't take your mana regeneration into account.

I never used that calculator since I never use ES on a PvM sorc. Vita all the way.

Can't really go wrong with:
75 strg
175 dex (block is good)
300 vitality
35 energy (base)
