Is there a limit to attack speed on frenzy

I am thinking of making a speed barb to get the fastest attack possible and was wondering if there was a way to get an ungodly fast attack

well, depends if you wanna do it just for fun, and no dmg in it, then use 120 ias phase blades...if you want some damage and your serious about it, dual griz weapons with sheals are nice, thats about the highest speed on weapons you will ever get

you could also try, if you wanted, getting Goblin Toe boots, Rattlecage armor upgraded, and CB gloves for around 70 crushing blow with supersonic speed, but you are sacrificing all your res and lifetap if you do that

You cannot be faster than 5 fps (5 frames per second). A this level Frenzy gives 5 attacks per second.
My Frenzy Barb reaches that speed with Shael'ed Lightsabre (20%+20% IAS, Laying of hands (20% IAS) and Goldwrap (10% IAS). Frenzy level is maxed, but it could reach 5 fps before that level.
There is no need to add more IAS once you've reached 5 fps, and with Frenzy, IAS on off-hand weapon (the one above the boots) is totally useless.

...unless you want to stack ias, so when you get slowed by various forms of spells, you still be happily swinging at 5fpa still. :)

that is because LS is a special kind of sword....many people dont know...LS has a base item speed of -50, not like every other phase blade that is -30...just an FYI (oldschool knowledge from the past rocks) thats why in 1.09, almost all zealers used a perf ohm LS, it rocked your socks

base speed of any pb is -30, with LS 20% ias. This does not make it -50, big difference.

and I think stun is limited at 7FPA too
