Hi, MF sorc help =)

Hi. I just recently figured I have no real mfing char (using my psn nec atm), so I need an mfer :P
o here's the eq i'll use:

I already purchased a few items for her s
Shako
Tals amu
Occulus
Tals armor
Splendor RW
Chancies
Nagel
Tal belt
Nagel
Wts
Torch
2xFire skillers so far, will also continue adding some cold skillers
Cta + Lidless

Not sure if I can get my hands on an anni, but I'll try.



So, what kind of sorc? I got a FC/ES light soso so I'll skip that.

Leaves me with either
Blizzballer
Meteorber
Pure fire
or Pure cold


First thing I heard was a meteorber but I really hate meteor. Takes forever for it to come down and even when it has come down, the enemy either moved or doesnt take any damage at all. Orb is nice though xD

Blizzballer seems nice though. I like both spells and they seem effective. Only problems are: I can't seem to find any guides, and it seems I have to lvl them to lvl 99 before they are finished =P

I'll be aiming for 88-90 something when I'm done with her.

Please do give me your opinion.

You're a little wrong here. A Meteorb uses Fire Ball 90% of the time, and Meteor only on groups of enemies, if at all. That's right, I've gone thousands of full MF games WITHOUT using Meteor, just because 1) Fire Ball kills things much better and is actually more powerful than Meteor, and 2) I also hate waiting for Meteor to drop on things. Fire Ball is the more powerful skill, of course I'm going to use it all the time...

You're right about Orb. It's very nice :grin:

:raises hand: My vote is for Meteorb. (should be called FireBallOrb... but that just doesn't sound right...)

EDIT: Try your very best to get your little hands on the last 2 pieces of the Tal's Set, the Orb and Helm in your case. Throw in a Spirit Monarch, Magefists, and a FCR ring if you need it to get yourself 105% FCR, and you should be set to take on Hell MFing with absolute ease.

Use Meteor whenever you advance pauses. Usually you are just running through the level killing a few monsters at a time very quickly. Occasionally you encounter a larger group of monsters that temporarily brings you to a stop while you kill them. If you get in the habit of using Meteor whenever you come to a stop then you will get moving again a lot faster. That's how I use Meteor, I use Fireball mostly, but whenever I have to stop moving I just instinctively use Meteor in between Fireball. Ususally, almost everything dies when the Meteor lands and you are on the move agian.

I'd go with a single element. I hate sorc's that use more then one eg. Meteorb. They just seem way to weak to me especially with newb gear. But for all his own.

My fire sorc is lvl 87. about 900 mana i think and 1900 Life with cta bo.

No charms or torch ( Well i do have a torch but its a druid torch)
Using full tals , Mage fist , War travs and 2 soj.

I do 10 k Fireball damage and 20k meteor.

My way of killing ( I'll use meph as an example :P )

I'll Get to meph , Cast meteor on her , Tele right ontop of her , Static to half life , Step back a little bit. Cast another meteor and Spam FB at her ussually dead in 10 seconds.

I only deal with legit items to :) As many do
