As crazy as it may sound, and as ineffective as it might be, I decided to make one. Well first of all, I have currently zero items, that explains something about why a MF character. Besides that I have gone away and come back to diablo so many times that blizz/meteor/light is getting way to boring.

Now with the current skill setup. (20 hydra + 40 points in syn. + 20 points in Fire Mastery, 1 in teleport, frozen armor, prerequiries I have like 10-20 skilpoints left. I am not sure where to put them... maybe in Meteor (boost fireball) but then I will basicly end up with a meteor sorc  . So myself, as crazy as it might seem was thinking of putting spare points in Teleport because I will have VERY moderate gear in the start.

Any suggestions are welcome

I always thought that Hydra was fun to use. I'm actually in the process of making my first Hydra/Orb sorc. Now for your build, I see that this is really a single element sorceress. You'll have a hard time when you encounter fire immune monsters. Your merc will have to deal with them or you just simply teleport to pass them or reset them. Not sure how effective it is for MF then. I really think you should have placed those 20 points towards Frozen Orb instead of Fire Mastery. You'll end up having more fun that way instead of getting frustrated since there are many fire immune monsters. Now if you still want to go for it, I agree with putting points into Meteor but do not put extra points into Teleport.

Hmm valid point, well mostly I will be running Mephihell, so I don't worry about the immunities, I just wonder how does FO handle itself in hell without any synergies/masteries? Also what do you think about a couple of points in energy shield and rest in telekineses?

Thanks for your response,

Well give FO a try. With 20 in Orb and points in mastery with + skills to 17, you'll be suprised at how well it does even in an 8 player game. I've never used ES but from what I read you can put 1 in ES and 20 in Telekenisis to be worth using it. If you don't have that many in TK, your blue ball will deplete against mana burners and you will die quickly.

orb is fine unsynergised for pvm. a point in cold mastery, pump orb. it wont be super-freddy **** hot, but will deal with a decent chunk of fire immunes.

i wouldn't bother with ES on a starting build. for pvm mana-burn = dead, theres better things to whack a point into.

at the bare minimum, one in glacial and another in static.

I took another look on Hydra, and I decided that the 3% fire damage isn't that juicy that you get form synergies. So for now my plan is:

Max FO, Max Hydra, Max first synergy of Hydra, Max firemastery.
Then proably 10 in cold mastery and rest into the second synergy of Hydra.

Thanks for all your replies :)

Dude, seriously. 1 point into static is DEFINATLY worth it. It deals in % of the opponents HP, not dmg.

Static scales up with higher player games as well. It is just as effective in an 8 player game. I can't imagine making a sorc without it.
