I did my first crafting of blood gloves yesterday. I found the best place to find the magic gloves was to gamble with gheed until sharkskin gloves dropped. Only once I got vampirebone, and about 50% of the time they were heavy.

Much quicker than trying to find them!

Just after reading your post, I alt-tabed to my current Baal run and... surprise! I found white Vampirebone Gloves :) Damn, I just realised they must be magical :] Why Gheed, not the others?

I think all gamblers have the same chance on spawning each items.
Try Jamella or Anya if you want too.

I think all gamblers have the same chance on spawning each items.Where you gamble an item from (both NPC and difficulty) has no affect on the base items that show up in the gamble screen and no affect on the resultant gambled item.

sorry should have said any traders who gamble, I just tend to use gheed cos I get my money doing pit runs
