Is a DS Barb viable? 20 Mastery 20 Bash 9 DS 20 BO rest in prereqs and 1-pointers?

Well, it's not exactly a coockie-cutter, but it will get the job done.

Really, any build which can attack fast can just load up on crushing blow and cruise through the game.

With those skills you will have a LOT of spare points.

My suggestions:

20 Mastery
20 Bash
20 Battle Orders
10 Warcry
9 Double Swing (Get to 9 after +skills)
1 in Iron Skin, Natural Resistance Increased Stamina, Increased Speed

Rest can go into Shout or Double Swing.

Gear:
Helm: Guillaumes Face
Armor: Duress
Weapons: Heaven's Light, Stormlash, Oath BA, anything fast with crushing blow
Ring1: Ravenfrost
Ring2: Ravenfrost or dual leech ring
Amulet: Highlords Wrath, Metalgrid, Saracens Chance, Atmas Scarab
Belt: Verdungos Hearty Cord, String of Ears
Gloves: Laying of Hands, Draculs Grasp, Soul Drainer, crafted blood gloves
Boots: Gore Rider

Charms should fill in resistances and add life.

Strenght and Dexterity: As much as needed for gear
Vitality: The rest
Energy: Guess :rolleyes:

You just stun them with warcry and swing away.
