Goldfinder suggestions

Hehe, I just started one of these guys. Its very fun ;). Im having a hard time deciding over a few things though. I have two options im considering. One is that I max find item(~55%) and wear a 3 lem 3 bo helm, and the other is that I put no points into find item(~40%) and wear a 3 find item 3 lem helm. Either one I do though, ill still have a lot of points left over. Where should they go? Nat res, Battle cry?

1 leap
1 nat res
1 iron skin
1 increased stamina
1 increased speed(use wealth, not enigma)

Im also having problems with ismail. Half the time he physical immune, which pretty much kills the run because the merc cant get off him. Heres what hes wearing:

ebotd ghost spear
29xx fortitude
crown of theives

The merc is also vulnerable to the fire(hydras). If im not constantly leaping and howling, hes dead. I was thinking about replacing the fortitude with a guardian angel, but atm he only has 50 all resists, so that +15% wont add anything.

Anyway, im really looking forward to being able to run trav successfully and fast. Please give me any techniques or suggestions you might have. :)

Indeed, gold finding is very fun. Let me try to help you a bit...

Your skills setup depends on what you're going to run. If you run Nightmare Travincal, you barely even need the BO or any other skill besides Find Item. If you go to Hell, however, you need to choose some kind of skill setup. You could max Leap, a great crowd control skill. You could also go the War Cry way; max Warcry and it's synergies. The rest can go in Shout. Or, you can fight yourself; in this case, make your setup like you would do with a regular WW/Frenzy Barb, with adjusted equipment.

I wouldn't max Find Item though; it's just not worth it, in my opinion. However, it's a good option if you stick to Nightmare I guess.

About your equipment, I'd just go for a Immortal King helmet for the +2 to Warcries (which means +2 to Find Item and +2 to BO), mf, gf and two open sockets, or go for a Crown of Thieves; you'll end up with a little less gf, but the extra mods are definately worth it.

I checked out the link, and somebody suggested maxing leap. I did it, and it works wonders!

When the whole council is in the main building(and youre leaping), theyre all getting pushed agianst the wall, and they dont have any time to attack or cast hydra. Theyre paralyzed, and its all a matter of time before they all die. >:). My barb is geared with all gold gear too, and he doesnt even get touched. Very good technique.
