FA/Strafer Amazon Comments

I recently made my first ever Amazon in D2, and found it rather fun, until Hell. Focusing on mostly cold.. I can't kill anything with CI mod... which kinda hurts.

This is my set up atm:

Stats (+ from items included)

Strength: 117
Dex: 275/295
Vit: 110
Energy: 34


Skills:

Frozen/Cold Arrow 20
Strafe 10
Valk 10
Pierce/Penetrate 5
Rest 1s

Using:

Helm: Stealskull / Peasant Crown
Ammy: +2 passive zon skills
Armor: Viperskin of the Magi
Belt: Bladebuckle
Ring1: Ravenfrost
Ring2: Manald Heal
Weapon1: Ice Runeword
Weapon2: Lycander's Aim
Gloves: Magnus's Skin
Boots: Sandstorm Trek

I do fine in 5/6 people Hell games soloing, until I hit a CI, then its time to use the valk for tanking and run like mad.

Any suggestions as to fixing the whole killing C/Is problem, and general critique of my char?

you could get an infinity merc, would increase your demage by a lot and break some of the cold immunities.
Also don't forget to use your decoy, most new zons forget about that skill.

I would get a better bow than lycanders flank on switch, something like faith or harmony to kill CI's faster.

For helm the best option imo is nighwings, should give you a lot of damage. Your armor is definetely not helpful, you can get smoke or lionheart if you are on a budget or a coh, hell even an ormus for some massive dmg would be more helpful(not tested that).
I also see that your build is generally lacking in ias, which would defintely increase your killing speed.

agrees. and i would change that bladebuckle to nosferatus coil and amulet to highlord or cats eye and gloves to a pair of rare/crafted gloves with 20 ias, skills and maybe even stats, res.

OR you could use mavinas set and hire a act1 rogue merc and give her a faith bow ^^ thats something i want to try out when/if the current ladder resets
