Hmm u know with a simple shael or eth job and a bit more off weapon cb/ow i think a concentrate/frenzier could actually do ubers with this - might be the next weapon up for testing...
I am thinking a concentrate barb with this, SS, marrows, ravenfrost, rare dual leecher ring, arreats, highlords,duress,LOH/Dracs..mmm

dual grief >> bul-kathos' set
'nuff said. BK set is more of a style thing than a killer.

Obviously. BK is more for amusement, as he said.
Btw grief/beast > grief/grief.

Frenzyer with the Bul-Kathos set is probably a decent killer.
Yeah but the Knockback is a *** for Frenzy...dual WW with Shaels is the way forward for Bul-Kathos...
Btw grief/beast > grief/grief.
grief/beast is only better than grief/grief on ww barbs that dont have a merc and fortitude. And even then grief/beast is better thanks to its crushing blow and open wounds, as it loses to grief/grief in raw damage. In any other case grief/grief is better.
BK has low damage and knockback. Not too useful.

mcm has already proved that Grief + Beast is better in every situation on a WW barbarian, but with Fortitude the difference in damage is smaller.
And you are wrong. Grief + Beast is not better merely because of the CB and OW. OW is pretty much useless in PvM and CB is pretty much useless in PvP. Beast adds 186% ED to the Grief, that's what makes it better. And no, in raw power, Grief + Beast does not lose to Grief + Grief unless excessive +damage% stuff is used (fortitude, might merc with pride ...). And who the hell would use Fortitude on a WW barbarian in PvM? Nah, I don't see that happening, unless of course you are using it for something like Ubers only or leveling only.

There's one big difference between g/g and g/b: you can g/g with swords but not with axes, and in pvm style counts ^^ (if you want, of course)

well perhaps im wrong with something then.. but i did do some calculations and found grief/grief combo to be more damaging. ill just post the numbers and please show me where i am wrong.
total amount of ED (str bonus, whirlwind dmg bonus, weapon mastery, base bonus of 1, 1.86 extra for grief/beast):
grief/grief: 1.5 + 1.66 + 1.63 + 1 = 5.79
grief/beast: 5.79 + 1.86 = 7.65
average weapon damage(the average of both weapons):
grief/grief: (447 + 447)/2 = 447
grief/beast: (447 + 180.5)/2=313.75
total damage(weapon damage multiplied by ED)
grief/grief: 447*5.79=2588
grief/beast: 313.75*7.65=2400
i didnt take deadly strike into consideration but it shouldnt change things as both grief and beast have 20% deadly.
