Me and another smiter decided to go normal attacks using a normal shortsword and exiles, it took us for ever to finish i dont think life tap went off once and we just swung at each other for what seemed to be hours but was only really like 30 mins.
My longest duel was 18 minutes, me ( lld es/blizzer) against an lld trapper. I dont like those long duels =(

rest I killed under 20 sec, all of em.

Defidently Ghost v Trapper against jerico's c/c trapper. In two duels he ended up at low life and became so defensive that even getting him on my map was difficult. I assume it was to try and regenerate life, anyway those duels ended up abut 20 minutes long.
Dueling a l8z barb on ladder.
Kid literally ran to cold plains and back doing random wws. Never leaped, never tele'd.... T_T

Maybe around 5 minutes. My tal blizz vs some firesorc fair 1 on 1. I won and teached the selfish bastard never to treat people like ****, just because you're richer, even in an online game(he interrupted my duel vs an orber and nked me a few times, because i had tals on, wich he considered "nooby").

my longest one was against some blizzer noob , that barely showed on my screen like 3 times , and was runnig all over the moor rest of the time , casting maybe 5 blizzards during the duel. after 5 min he went town and said i was being super defensive...
around 12-14 minutes. Back in .09 classic. Sorc vs Sorc (orb vs orb)

My longest duel would only be around 5 minutes. My longest battle was fighting the Skeleton King in Diablo 1 with my cousin. I was a Rogue using a Short Bow of Knockback and my cousin was using a Short Sword. It took over 40 minutes, but we couldn't kill him at level 6. We had to come back later. I had to click so many times and unfortunately you can't see enemy health in Diablo 1.

Longest legitimate duels...
My WW/Trap sin versus some random defensive trappers... Nearing 10 minutes... Dammit... How hard is it to play aggressive and get Whirlwinded?

I don't seem to remember any duels longer than 5.

About 10 minutes...played a damn Blizz sorc who wouldn't stay in screen and I was using my 200 FCR FB sorc. Decided if he wanted to play like that so would I. I just kepted teleing everywhere and spamming firebolts. Killed him a few times after the first 10 minutes and he complained I teled to much :o/

Probably about ~10 minutes in 1.09. Necro vs necro. My opponent was very defensive and we both made the most use of +life replenish gear. (Not real obsene Prayer amounts, but ~20-25 each probably)

Hah hah, I dueled as a nova sorc against a bvc who didn't really know how to duel. He had prebuffed fade, and had about 95 res stacked, and a bit of sorb. It took about 10 novas to see his life go down a little bit. He whirlwinded at me, I teled to the side- spammed nova until his whirlwind was done. When I saw him start to teleport again, I teled to the side and when I saw him start whirlwinding again, kept spamming nova. Eventually his fade ran out and I destroyed him. The duel lasted however long a treachery fade lasts.
The longest duels i have had was vs this hammerdin basically i hit him with some good whirls and he retreated off screen and about 5 mins later when i was dueling someone else he came back near full health .T_T
Another one was vs a defensive blizzer it was so ridiculous a good 10 mins i eventually got bored i was talking to others in the game. Mine sounded simular to Mainiaman' only difference is i went suicidal and died

My Es Orb sorc vs another Es orb sorc. I have 3.2k mana & 1.2k life, he was using some Bmanas and had 4k+ mana & 2k+ life. Both had 90%+ Es blocking and mana regen from warmth (mines like 250%+ I think). Probably took close to ten minutes because neither of us went fully offensive since that get very good results and ended up hurting us more. It was alot harder for me, but we barely got full attacks on the other since we tele'd around alot. It got kinda boring though, but I don't have perfect gear, and he had the best w/ bmanas so it woulda taken alot of concentration and skill to beat him (it always ended up pretty close though). Good fun though

Yeah, I recall orb vs orb duels taking a long time as well. Some ZvZ duels also took a while.

my old fuzzydodger vs some bvb's could take awfully long. Especially fun when the ww barbs ran out of manapots.
Defensive es sorcs vs my bone nec = long duels.
Longest was probably like 20 minutes or 30.

close to an hour, desynch hammerdin vs. desynch hammerdin.
bowa vs bowa in a pubby one time. Guys' build was just sick. I won with very little life left.
The duels I had vs some other chap in these forums also took a long *** time.
bowa vs bowa as well.
