Multi-Shot/Strafe Q

I have a quick skill Q.

Say I got Ice Runeword on, and I MS or Strafe, does each arrow trigger the Frost Nova, or does it only work with normal attacks? Also, would the explosion from Freezing Arrow trigger the Nova with only the main arrow hit, or any splash hits as well?

This is a good question.

I have often wondered the same thing.

One step further- How does pierce work into this whole scenario? Does a shot that pierces through also have the same chance to trigger CtC spells upon striking the next foe in line? Do Multi/Strafe shots pierce? (I've never really messed with strafe/multi- my experiences with bowies is limited to frostmaidens with Magic/Guided arrow as a backup skill.)

for strafe/normal attack/fa, it is simple. Every arrow that hits can and will have a chance to cast frost nova. Pierce doesn't alternated this, and strafe and ms all pierce heavily, they SHOULD pierce heavily if they don't. Splash hits, without the physical part, will not triger anything. It is the arrow itself that has to hit.

About ms: I don't see why that ctc would be different, so only the center two/three or one, what ever, can trigger a frost nova.
