Golum - iron/fire ??

Ey,

I wanted to know if the iron golum - thorns aura aplies to all creatures or it stays only on the iron golum.
If it only stays with the golum, i can better get another golum instead. I wanted 2 put 1 point in it so, with golum can i use best?

If anyone has a good suggestion, :)

Only your IG gets that thorns. IG are mainly good because they can provide an extra aura. If you made an IG out of bramble armor, then the IG would produce a paladin's thorn's aura.

ok thanx, but then i wont use him.. im not that rich xD...
But what golum should i use then, clay or fire??? (1 golum skill, 1 mastery)

Well fire golem will attract all monsters because of his fire aura, making him a tank magnet. But if you have plenty of other summons, you don't need the FG tanking so much. Mostly poisonmancers get fire golems. Clay golems are common amoung summoners because they slow champions and bosses.

I think a fire golem would work well with someone who maxes skeleton mages but not skeleton warriors, since he would attract 90% of the monsters. Though, I've never tested that build.

make it out of insight (ral tir tal sol) as that's dirt cheap and very useful with medi aura :smiley:
i used fire golem myself for my last summoner so i'd have something to tank well for me (back when i was poor, didnt have much gear or merc stuff)

I made my iron golem out of Beast. lvl 9 fana is a great help

If your bone or summon, go clay, massive tank, slows enemies and offers a nice distraction. If you're poison, go fire. A nice holy fire aura that'll help finish those 1 life enemies in pvp and a nice magnet in PvM. If you're rich, you can always get a nice runeword such as insight or even infinity and make an iron golem out of it.
