View Full Version : Max Bone Spear/Spirit Dmg

So basically I was wondering... typically how much damage would you get for your bone spear or spirit if everything is maxed and you are fully equiped...

currently i have around lvl 33 spear (2.5k dmg) and spirit (3k dmg) with:

NTorch
enigma
+2 necro skills wand
peasant crown
homonculus
+3 bnp ammy

and i was wondering how much better my damage would be if i wore better equips like shako , white, arach and SoJs...and had BnP grand charms

someone told me that if i had good equips... i could easily reach 5.2k dmg or 6k

Well with a fully equiped nec and battle command on, youll get a lvl50 Spirit and Spear.

Spear= 5464-5735
Spirit= 5278-5614

With a +8spear white wand, spear dmg will be 6256-6560.

yep, my bonemancer reaches that damage.
also his spear does more damage than spirit :smiley: quite funky eh? :grin:

damage isnt really as important as 125 fcr for bone necs, so don't go all out with like an 8k spear and only 60% fcr.

to bad necro heads can't have 4 sockets for some nasty spirit shields
i think thats unfair cause all pala shields can have 4 sockets

everrthing on pala is unfair, especially conc gives more dmg to hammers, this is ridiculous, why then not give more dmg to other magical attacks like spear and spirit??? New Patch Now

it's fine, a nicely built summonmancer will be stronger in PvM then any hammerdin, just because of versatility and survivability. As for the shields, I don't think paladin shields can spawn with 3 to a skill.

Not but they can spawn with Resists and ED/AR.

Mose cases, Using "white" means you have to give up some resist / fcr from wizardspike or hoto.
8-6 white still doesn't make much difference knocking out your opponent.

4000 dmg is enough
namelock, decry, bp/bw are more important.

I would gladly sacrifice those +skills for 4 sockets.

on topic:
for Nec vs All 4k spear is more than enough

I would go for more dmg/life for nvn exlusively, though.
Like 5-6k spear.

I agree, Paladins are uberly powerful in D2.

I think Hammerdin magic damage should be just as the same dmg level as a Necro's magic dmg.

heh...I remember the old marrowwalk charge glitch. I ended up having a necro with 15.000 bonespear/13.000 bonespirit damage. I forgot the name of the wand I had, but its the wand that adds +4 teeth/armour, +3 spear/wall, and +2 spirit as well. Synenergies were bugged too, so it skyrocketed.


then it got fixed and uberduriel kicked my skinny *** =(

If I remember correctly - in 1.09 LR also cut the magic resistance for Bspears/Bspirits/Teeth... with paladin hammer+conc (which then was considered by some as a kind of semi-bug) making "normal", nerfing LR not to affect Magic Damage from bone spells was indeed a bit unfair...
as for shield comparison - 3x+3 to viable skills I think can balance 4 sox on paladin shields... but yeah - maybe at least hell version of two best heads (succubi/blood lord skull) should get 3 sox.
Same (relatively low) blocking rates for exceptional and elite versions of heads alike - also sux a bit.
