Heya i just got a weapon whose damage range is from 20-40.
Then i got a weapon whose damage was only 1-14. HOWEVER it does 120 poison damage over 4 seconds. when i equip the second weapon, the damage done in my character sheet, for whirlwind actualy increases.

Howeve i'm just wondering if those are the actual damage reflected for when i WW or is it just theorycraft on the part of blizzard, as i'm not sure if the poisons can stack (ie, if use WW and hit a monster 4 times, would it mean 4 of the "120 over 4 secs" debuffs on the monster). Insight?

It shows how much damage you would be doing if you're hitting the enemy once every 4 seconds. Because it counts the 120 damage into one hit.

That's one of the trickies of Poison: It's added to both the minimum and maximum, making your damage look bigger.

However, the physical damage range doesn't matter either. The greater the average, the greater the weapon. And average = (minimum + maximum)/2
