Quick couple of questions

I was wondering if anyone had a link to this frenzy barb faq I seen awhile back, it wasn't for builds, but mostly listed top choice runewords for weapons & armor.

I wanted to check out some options about a Sword Frenzy Barb again.
I had a Azurewrath/Lightsaber before and got addicted to the speed, but I dont think they are gunna be all that viable for ubertrist runs (if I even bother to run those of course)

But the runewords I considered or seriously considering in swords, since Berserker Axes seem to be very hard to find and within good reason.

But my affordability leaves me with the following:

Oath, Grief, Death & possibily Kingslayer (no idea if thats going to viable or not, seems like the ED is low)

read spankeh's new guide on frenzy, explain's weapon choices....just get over the fact he is single minded about most other things :grin:

Yeah I kinda figured but I think his post was mostly just about axes.
Not so much on what makes good frenzy blades (swords) like Legends or Balrog Blades, ect.
I think Legend can be four socket but i think the damage is probably to low

cb/cs (as one gets guarenteeed 6 the other 5 form larzuk for death and botd) tend to be the best.

Ahhh, makes sense I was thinking I would make a Oath Balrog Blade & Death Collossus Sword. Or a dual grief phase blades if I can find em as 5soc ;D

Rest of my gear is 'ghetto' with full intention, I figure my Death/Oaths are pretty much only things in my price range, plus its something I could easily farm myself, I've got plans to make Fortitude in Superior Armor I've set aside. And right now im trying to find a nice arreats, Ik Boots, Belt, Laying of Hands. That alone should cover a decient ammount of resists/ias for Frenzy bp's with Phases (if I was to go LS/Azurewrath again) or eDEathcs/Oath bb. Rings/Ammy I though maybe going alittle overkill on AR and using Angelic Set but I may need a ravenfrost for CBF.

Took to long to edit my post, but I realized something, other then the fact they are only 5 socket, im wondering how well a 5socket scourge or Caduceus would be for Frenzy weapons both are -10 for speed.

cadaceus is nice option for speed, but are too hard to find and damage is lower than ba...(and you'd end up mixing mastery's)

Yeah, Im leaving weapon mastery until last I think maxing out the obvious skills first, 20BO, 20Frenzy, I dont want to be to hardcore in damage, so I dont think I'll max Taunt/Double Swing but rather maybe split the points, do 10 battle cry and 10 doubleswing (i like the reduction on battle cry)
or maybe do 5taunt/battle cry 10 doubleswing and let +Skillers do the rest heh.

1 point battle cry is boosted enough with +skills... good enough duration and reduction...not worth the points IMO

Yeah, thats true. When I looked closer at the skill lv 1 up to lv 2 it was 2.4 duration increase and +2/+1 reduction.
The thing about BA that I didnt like was the cost, they are still quite expensive to find because its pretty much a staple weapon, every build pretty much uses them from fury druid up to well melee sorc. So I wanted to go a different way.

At this point i've pretty much got my gear worked out and my skills, its just the weapons but im saving my wpn mastery for that reason or atleast setting aside 20points

atm im gunna balance 10 taunt 10 double swing by then DS should require 0 mana, and 10pts should give me like a 160% more ed to frenzy which will be very respectable dmg in anything in hell with right weapons

collosus blades or collosus blade//collossus sword is the best other option...
so sword mastery if you cant afford the ba's.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. That or I go back to Azurewrath/LS Hehe.

Gear so far I have..

Arreats
Fortitude Superior Hauberk
Thundergods (I find this belt underrated really)
Ik Boots
Ik Gloves (2pieces gives me 25% IAS and MF)
Raven Frost (unfortuntly a low one 19dex 211ar or something)
Mahim-Oak Curio (shrug lol its all I have until I make a good blood one)
Manald Heal
Also a Btorch (we actually picked it up this morning after several hours of key farming - we play fairly legit things ..which is also why i'll never see an anni, heh)
Base Stats are kinda steep, but like I said I play as legit as possible so I try to build my stats based on the fact i could be wearing anything fom coh to levithan, I found these pts to be quite universal for all builds and gear (with acception of casters)

115dex
255vit

all @ lv 85 so far with quests done.
