I've been doing some trading for skill gc's here lately for my barb and was just wondering what the experts take were on gc's. Mastery or combat?? I'm a dual wielding ww barb if that helps!

I'd say at the bare minimum, where cost can be a concern, 20 life scs are fantastic. Just saying.
That being said, a plain Warcry charm isn't too bad, since it offers life+def, but not more life then 3 x 20 life small charms. Warcry with life mods around 40, will ultimately lead to the same life level as the small charms and give you a little defense bonus, but those are real pricey and hard to come by.
Generally the bonuses are very small for the amount of real-estate taken up by any plain Barb skiller, but you'll prob get the most bang out of the Warcry Plain or otherwise.
Think of it this way too, if you had 1 of each skiller (WC,Mast,Comb), that would be the equivalent of just adding 1 to all skills, in 9 possible sc slots. If you look at what adding 1 to all skills does for your barb, you'll see it doesn't do alot, really.

Unless you're making a singer you'll want charms that add damage, attack rating and life. Singers want Warcry gcs with +45 life.

I'd say neither of them, I find maxdmg/ar/life charms to be better, even medium ones are better than skillers imo.

However, unless perfect or nearly perfect, ar/life> max/ar/life due to the fact that the AR added by max/ar/life is at most 76, which is merely 57.57% of the amount of AR that an ar/life GC can add (132), so you will gain little damage and lose lots and lots of life (each GC = 15 lost life if perfect, thus you lose 30 life for each max/ar/life GC you use instead of using ar/life, again, if perfect)

I meant to add AR/lifers since I used them when I played.
13x/3x ones arent to hard to come by.
To the OP. Point proven, ar/lifers > max/ar/life > skillers.
