Yes, I play on USeast, but I'm from the netherlands myself, and play between the timezones of 5pm-9pm from monday-friday, and various times during weekends.

I have had this idea for some time now. Basically I want to start a clan of 7 people, myself included. And we just play D2 expan, but all of us use a different characters. So we have 1 of each class that way, and nobody can pick a class already selected. Also, one of our rules would be that we don't trade with other people, we only use what we find in actual clan games, and we don't do muling, taking items from mules, or rushes. Also, for fun's sakes, you don't have to make a super built. Its a clan made for fun, and not to be able to do UBER runes without being hit or all that crap around it. So if you want to be a barbarian leaper with double throw as backup, do it (example).

In other words, the rules would be;

- Only allowed to pick ONE character class
- No muling. See a good item that another char of yours could use? Tough ****. Give it to one of your clanmates if they can use it, and if nobody can use it, ditch it
- No trading outside of clangames, no trading off of mules (aka mules are NEVER involved)
- You may only use stuff you find ingame
- No rushes
- all quests are done
- all wp's are found as well!

In other words....we play the game to its fullest, as its supposed to be played.

I haven't decided on a clan name yet, but I'm open for suggestions.

Anyways, I have no clue what kind of char I will be playing with. I've tried them all except the paladin, which I have a natural distaste for. Also, we will all start with that new character, most likely it will be a character name with the clan name before it.

I'll just see how it goes and if people will respond to this.

USeast.

And some rather annoying news; its on hold. My pc decided to be a ****bag and the hard drive flipped me off and now it won't start XP...so im using an old pc which wont play the expan. No clue how long this will last v.v

Well, my pc is still a ***** really. (I do hope thats auto-censored), but I can play D2 now again.

Basically the idea changed a little here. The idea is to focus on a character with one main power. No secondairy powers (aka no fire sorcs with ice as secondairy or vice versa...we max the powers).

Just let me know if you're interested. Again the rules are still the same;

dont be an ***
no trading with people not part of the clan
no rushing (unless it's someone who fell behind)
no solo-ing, 2 members must always be a minimum
no using items of other characters you have
only using stuff we found in our own games
no hacks or cheating

etc etc, you get the idea.

Sounds similar to what we are doing here: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=585132

Are you going to be meeting up at a certain time every few days or just play with the players that are on at that time? And what are you going to do if you get to hell and finish act 5?
This is only a PvM group i'm assuming? Because if your limiting people to a certain class and not allowing muling your going to have some trouble in that field.

Nevertheless if the adventure quest falls apart like i'm starting to feel it will, I may be intrested.

I am interested but I have a question, irrelevant it may be, but i'd like to know the answer lol. If this is for people on the europe realm, why do it on the us east ladder? If its to stop people from muling items they could still trade so it would probably be better to do it on the asia realm where people wouldnt understand the game names or the languages. (Im just guessing the languages would not be understood as I have never actually looked at the games on the asia realm so I am only assuming they dont all speak english)

when I started playing D2, a lot of the guys I played with played on USeast. I'm used to it there, so that's basically just it. It's not just for europian people really, but it's more or less to indicate a timeline. And it would be easier if anyone speaks english.

Are you going to be meeting up at a certain time every few days or just play with the players that are on at that time?

players that are on at that time, though I do intend to set at least a regular time one or two days a week for as many people as possible. But considering I share a pc with my mom at the moment, which she likes to **** up (or so it seems most of the times), I can't set a solid time just yet.

And what are you going to do if you get to hell and finish act 5?

Ubers, just playing the game, maybe try new builds with other characters, hell I might even just start RP play for the heck of it. Who knows.

This is only a PvM group i'm assuming?

preferably, though naturally if people decide to quit the clan, or after they believe their character can't get any better, they are free to go pvp if they want to. But the moment that character gets into other games and gets other stuff or do quests he didn't do before, officially I'd say that character is no longer allowed. Though nobody can really check it up, so it's more of a trust issue.

Because if your limiting people to a certain class and not allowing muling your going to have some trouble in that field.

thats the idea. And yes it will be difficult, very difficult even. But its a good way to interact with other classes and learn to appreciate them more. My second character ever was a golemancer, and I quested with a valkyrie zone. It was hard as HELL to get to act2 hellmode. (note, a fire golem and valkyrie get you a long way, but if thats all you got you're in for a pain). Still taught me that the valkyrie is exceptionally strong, but that minions are never an option if you plan to finish the game succesfully (skeletons excluded).

also, from what I read on your thread you try and get it a "lets get through this game as fast as possible". That's not my idea. It's more a relaxt kind of play. We move at our own pace, we don't set timelimits on achieving certain things. We just play, have fun, and try and become a very powerfull team.

Truth be told I'd like to get to the ubers with a frenzy barb thats been juiced up by a lv18 might/fanaticism/defiance aura, a lv40 BO/BCshout, doing insane amounts of damage, and seeing how I can take down Mephisto while watching a guy with +40 minions whale away at diablo, etc etc. You know? To behold absolute pwning by a simple group of people. Or rather, to experience being part of it. And I always liked the idea of having a char that protects or strenghtens other chars, thats why I always liked the necro (strategy) or barbarian (meatshield).
