Need help: V/T hot keys

Hi guys,

I've made my first V/T pally, but I'm messing up a lot with hot keys. As hot keys are everything in duels I wanted to know how you have assigned keys for V/T.

Well I need to switch between 2 type of attacks and 5 skills constantly. 1st mod attack is foh/convict, 2nd smite/fana and I need also sometimes have combination of foh/charge (vs hammers) and charge/fana vs casters.

So often I'm messing up attacks and got killed for that :tongue:

Any V/T expert advice will be very appreciated.

My personal V/T hotkey setup looks like this:

q = unsummon (needed for delay tele smiting)
w = foh
e = charge
r = holy freeze
a = smite
s = tele
d = fana
f = cleansing
c = conviction
v = vigor
b = holy shield
y = bc
x = bo


I wanted smite, tele and fana in 1 row (asd) to be able to telesmite properly.
The other hotkeys I've set the way it was most comfortable for me.

well, thx for posts. I'm very surprised how different is key layout :lol:

You guy's could tell if its azerty or qwerty keyboard.
From all hot keys swish layout I found interesting, even so its with F keys.

Well, I went through the search and ditch out Pravdas V/T guide. It is very old, but I liked very much key layout:

A – charge
Z – meditation
S – FoH
X – conviction
D – smite
C – fanaticism
F – vigor
V – holy freeze
F1 – zeal
F2 – vengeance (use frequently in PvM)
F3 – cleansing
F4 – teleport
F5 – battle command
F6 – battle orders
F8 – holy shield

After one year, I'm still changing constantly the hotkeys of my mage btw.

I always find it important that ... e.g. if I need to switch two skills at the same time ... those skills can be selected with different fingers.
for example when you want to telesmite, you should be able to press smite and fanatism hotkeys at the same time. (asap after you teled)
that means, that I personally find it uncomfortable to set smite on d and fana on c, but of course, that's preferance again ...
