dmg vs mastery on a pvp blizzer.

are you looking for max damage or the highest amount of cold mastery and facets to get that good piercing action? right now im getting 10k blizz dmg with 260 to piercing enemy cold resistance with mastery and facets. is this good enough for pvp or do i need to increase the dmg?

anything over 8k is pretty much overkill. It's a very situational question that depends on the res of your opponents. If they have naturally low res, then damage will shine. If they're stacking, then mastery will win. 8k will generally 1hit anyone that's not stacking and absorbing. There are occassionally some players that can tank 2 or 3 hits but thats where skills come in. I've only met 2 people that can fully absorb me, 10k is more then enough.
