Javazon vs. Druid

Hey guys, I started off diablo 2 about 2 months ago and finally have built up some wealth, and I wanna make a pvper. 2 builds that stick out to me is the lightning javazon and the windy druid.

Jst wondering what you guys would prefer. I find that im leaning towards the zon for pvp because its easier to hit decent break points which lets me focus on other things. However, the druid looks like it can do everything (Hell rush/Chaos runs/Mf/PVP)

Any advice?

BTW, I was jst wondering how javazons take care of light immunes in chaos. Infinity mercs are pretty useless there because of iron maiden, and iron maiden effects you too when you try to do physical dmge towards lite immunes.

Well a really well equipped wind druid is certainly better than a javazon (especially legit), though I'm not sure how fast he'll be PvM.

Every chaosing light zon I've seen used a merc.

Put Infinity in a low damage polearm class weapon, such as a Scythe. While your merc may not be able to do significant damage to anything, at least he won't kill himself.

I'm not sure how fast he'll be PvM.

Hmm... A well equipped wind druid hitting the 99% FCR 10 Frame breakpoint will probably be able to rush faster than a zon, because zons can't even hit the 10 frame breakpoint. I'm not sure about kill speed, I guess I'll have to make both to see.

The javazon probably can chaos faster than a windy druid though, and can definitely take down bosses faster. I'll probably switch over to a lf/cs zon at mephisto.

Zons aren't rushers IMO.



Windy is better for all purposes except Baaling, in which case the zon's ability to Top2 with people makes them pretty important.

Zons in chaos runs can do pretty well, at least if theres a smiter or something to take out the unbreakable immunities.

windys can do baal runs. I've been able to do one with mine successfully and hes not even geared properly (IE i dont think he even hits 99fcr).

Not what I meant.


I wasn't tryin to say Windies CAN'T do it, just that I'd much rather run baals with a CS Zon partner than I would a Windy, since the Zon can top2 for me. Amazons are also easier to level because of the fact that runners will top with you.
