Small problem.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this. I had D2 expansion on my PC for a long time. I had to delete it a few months back. Now I have installed it again. What I want to know is how I can get my old character back. I can still open the character up in hero editor. How can I use him as a playable character? Or can I not?

Place the character file in your Diablo 2 save directory, if it isn't already there. Also, make sure D2 has been updated to the version or character was made on, or later.

No problem. Just wondering, though. Which was it? (outdated version or misplaced file?)

Misplaced file. I installed the game to another location this time and the character was still in the old save file. So I just moved it and bingo. Thanks again.
