Uber MF gear?

Ok so i am thinking i need some better MF then my current 333 :p

so what is best uber MF gear to go with my summoner...
i am thinking ..

shako isted
enigma
6 isted cristal sword
4 isted monarch
40 - 50 MF amulet
30 30 rings
30 goldwrap belt
40 chances gloves and 50 war travelers boots
40 gheed
+ lots of sc +7

my killing power is not a problem in pits, tunnels, mausoleum so why not get best i can... since CE owns all :p

so any ideas to improve MF? or is this it?

btw i have like half of thouse things yet :p

only way of improving mf from that gear, is to get 2x 40mf rings (Fortuitous Ring of Fortune 15mf+25mf=40mf) and if Enigma isn't necessary, you can always stuck 4 ists to 4soc armor to get 100mf or use Tal Rasha's Armor socketed with ist and come to 113mf. It's up to you. With those changes, you get the best mf, there is, but are you still good for killing?

and btw, with that gear (with my suggested improvements) u get mf to 708 and plus 7mf sc's :)

I'm not sure that you haven't gone too far. IIRC there are significantly diminishing marginal returns over 500 (or is it 600?). I would sure want to add some survivability if I were planning on going anywhere else besides those Act I areas (and with Enigma, there's not a whole lot of reason not to).

On switch you need to have some obvious prebuffs: Homonculus or other nice head with +summoning, Arm of King Leoric or really nice summoning wand. Your ammy could stand to lose 15 MF if you could replace it with a MF skiller (and in theory, there could exist a godly rare with Golemlords, Fortuitous and Fortune, though I could be mistaken).

I am guessing your main killing power is from your merc. Some of those big sticks have MF on them. Spamming CE? A big Insight stick on your merc adds MF AND regens mana like crazy. If you're using a non-runeword helm, socket with Ist. But otherwise leave merc gear alone; I think your merc would be happier if you didn't outfit him in all-MF gear (even though Enigma armor wouldn't be that bad on him --but what a waste!).

MF is way overrated.
Just keep it at 300 and thats it.

I know ppl cant live with out enigmas, but Ptopaz Skulders if u want MF armor... and yes mf is way over rated.... but as u say u dont have a problem in the pits, but once u have all the gear on lets see, all ur skills go to 23 and if u have the luck to find that MF ammy with +3 summon, awsome 26... but first dont u have to kill to use CE? but then again in a single player game u shouldnt have a problem..

Mine uses Enigma, Delirium(bone helm - style points), Rhyme(MF, cannot be frozen, in a bone shield to go along with the helm's theme), Nagelring, Raven Frost, Mara's, Gheeds, War Travelers, Ist'd Ali Baba, upped Goldwrap and Chance Guards. Merc uses Ptopaz Stealskull, Fort and Insight. Inventory full of MF scs.

None of my items are "perfect" and in less than 10 games I've found 2 Maras, 2 Bonehews, Reaper's Toll, 2 20 Life Scs, 1 19 Life sc, 7 MF SC, 15 STR treks and a HoZ. I run Pindle, Shenk, Eldritch, Meph, Andy, Cathedral, Travincal and Pits. Pindle is an excellent place to start the games as his garden is full of corpses. :)

Sometimes I do Baal but one needs Dim Vision(at least 5 hard points) in case Black Souls show up there. However, both Baal and Chaos Sanctuary are usually not worth it since merc/skeles die often due to Iron Maiden, and the necro himself will struggle if Gloam packs are in the way.

You're going WAY overboard here. No need to spend all that stuff on MFing. Just use Harlequin Crest(Ptopaz), Enigma if you have it, War Travellers, Gheeds Fortune and some 7%MF SCs. Enough magic find for ANY needs. diminishing retuns start to kick in real bad after this setup ( ~300 MF) so that extra 500 or whatever MF you have on your planned setup won't increase your actual MF for uniques with more than a few %. NOT worth it.

The rest of your gear should increase safety and killing speed. HOTO/Arm of King Leoric, Homunculus, Arachnid Mesh, Mara's or good rare.... stuff like that is very good. Skillers and resistance charms should fill a good part of your inventory along with those 7%MF SC.

I always keep hearing that necro can go throuh hell naked... then why not make advantage of it?
i tried going pits, mausoleum, tunnels with only things that i will have with this mf equip.. and there were no problem... so i see no reason why not going for it... and it will be always nice to wear this for baal kill...

But youll get the MF run done faster with gear that gives you greater mobility and kill speed(Enigma etc.)
1000MF is just a tiny bit better than 300MF and that tiny bit isnt worth all the gear sacrifices.

enigma is on the list.. and speed is no slower then with best eq.
i take skellies with best equip switch to mf equip and go...

CE take care of everything realy fast...

Correct numbers would be:
300 MF - real MF on uniqe - 136
1000 MF - real MF on uniqe - 200

Still pretty much the same relative difference though.
