there dosn't seem to be a pvp t/v build in the pvp guide section...
What kind of skill layout do they have? What about stats/gear? Is gear the same as a v/t?
Also, what are the pros and cons of a v/t vs a t/v.
And lastly, how effective are they without pcombs? (I'm not saying I won't use pcombs... I just want to know.)

pub set up:
helm: shako ber
armor: enigma
weapon: grief ba
ammy: highlords
ring: frost &your choice
shield: upped hoz ber
glove:dracs
belt: dungo
boots: gore, tri resist
Skills:(with grief)
Combat skills :
1 into every skill
1+ Holy Shield
20 Smite
20 Fist of the Heavens
Offensive Auras :
1 into every skill -
20 Fanatasicm
1+ Conviction (add 1 point, then put points into it after everything to keep it at level 25 no matter the gear switch)
20 Holy Shock
Deffensive Auras :
optional
Basic diff between t/v and v/t, t/v has higher foh dam and less smite dam which if using grief isnt that significant unless dueling smiters. As for your last question, without pcombs yor damage will suck and therefore you will suck:grin:
A T/V will max FoH, Holy Shock, and get Conviction to 25 or higher. Remaining points are spent in max Fanaticism, one-point Holy Shield, and everything else in Smite.
a V/T will max Smite, Holy Shield, and Fanaticism. Conviction is most often either one-point, or zero if you decide to use a +Conviction FoH weapon switch (but this is a rare choice that I only ever see Arutha and myself really talking about). The remaining points are then distributed somewhat unevenly between FoH and Holy Shock to maximize your FoH damage output.
Stats are the same as always - as little Str as possible, enough Dex for max block with Holy Shield, pump Vit.
I've never really done damage calculations without PCombs, but I think it's safe to assume your damage will drop by a few thousand - both Smite and FoH.

Why would a T/V need 25pt Conviction?Im starting to build myself a t/v tomorrow or so,have all planned out in single player  .

Shako(ber)
Enigma mp
Grief Pb
Hoz (Upped,Um)
Verdungo

Only thing i didnt like was my resistances without Anya q,guess i have to use res charms instead of 20life sc's.

I'm just curious as to why you would do that? I don't think it would be for the defence as you are using a MP enigma. As for the blocking I'm assuming you have a lvl 13 base fanat (from looking at your gear), so if you switched the fanat and holy shield (20 fanat/13 Holy Shield) you would only lose 1% on the blocking bonus. With the switch you would gain 400 dmg on a +400 grief.
I know 400 dmg isn't that much after the PvP penalty, but every little bit helps.
Mind sharing why you chose this different skill layout?

Dirty Scorpion: Using grief, t/v will get more damage pumping smite and fana than HS. Using single player this wont show unless you do the math. I am sure about this. there is a number of threads about this here somewhere.
"Why would a T/V need 25pt Conviction? "
As far as points into conviction, being a t/v you want to maximize your foh damage. At lev 25 (with gear and Battle command) you achieve -150 resist. In my case I think I put in 6 or so points into conv to get there.
A T/V is essentially just an FoHer with Smite as a backup option. You'll need 25 Conviction because FoH is your main attack.
As others have said, maxing Fanaticism and dumping extra points into Smite, rather than maxing Holy Shield and dumping into Fanaticism, would have gotten you more damage. As Galen said, every little bit of damage helps, particularly when your main focus is not Smite anyway.
I would suggest wearing a Griffon's for the most part and switching in a Ber Shako only when you need DR.

It's for defence,if i go ap eni i cant build myself with base str.

Hmm i must check my calculations the +11pts were ment to be that with items i get -150%,it wont get lower than that to bump 20pts into it,just radius and -% enemy def increases a bit.

More dmg yes,but defence would be less lower and with higher def i have bigger chance against bvc's.
About griffon jep i thought to put Um'ed griffon in stash against casters

most bvc are not a huge problem to any kind of smiter and the few good ones will beat you anyway, defence or no defence, and damage is more important than defence anyway.

No offence but that sentence doesnt make any sence
The dmg bonus is somewhat low and in my opinion aint worth it.As ive checked other t/v guides/strategies they suggest similar skill placement.
He meant that the majority of BvCs are horrible anyway so you should be able to beat them. The ones that are actually good, you will never beat so there's no point.
If I remember correctly the damage difference was pretty big; maybe not. I'm on my way out at the moment but I'll check when I get home.

So what your saying is like there's no point to make a smiter also because u cant never beat hammerdin or there's no point of makeing foh because u never beat windie

hey man put your skills anywhere you want, no one is stopping you, you have alredy made up your mind, no problem. To sacrifice good amount of dmg vs all just to beat an occasional bvs is not what I would choose to do but by all means be my guest. Exile thanks for explaining what I meant, it was early in the morning

And thus a hybrid is born.
