I'm building a poisonmancer and was debating on going max block and was wondering if this is viable?

Trang's Gloves/Belt/Shield(Socketed With Eld for added 7% Block Rate)
This way I receive the -25% Enemy Resistances.
Two FCR Rings with Resistances
20% FCR Circlet Socketed with 2 5/5 (preferably with 2os and +2 skills resistances)
20% FCR Ammy (preferably with +2 skills and resistances)
Wizard Spike Socketed with 5/5 Poison Facet
Enigma
Shadow dancers for FHR/DEX
PNB Skillers with life/FHR
Anni/Torch

My thought is this way I can have max block and still reach 9 frames FCR and still reach about -40 enemy poison resistances, is this viable?

If you can afford Enigma, a Death's Web should be piece of cake to get. A poisonmancer doesn't need ANY FCR, since Poison Nova lasts 2 seconds anyway. Drop all that FCR stuff and go with +skills. Also, switch your armor for Bramble. Double SOJ's for rings. Get resistances from charms.
Max block with Trangs Shield will require a lot of dex, not worth it IMO.

If you are making a PVP character, disregard all that I said, as I know nothing about PVP.

This is a PvP character but thanks for your input! I will definitely have tons of gear switching abilities but I believe max block will be crucial in dueling especially because a necro can only reach 9 frames FCR.

Trang-Oul's wing has a 60% chance to block and when socketed with eld has a 67, the same chance as storm shield with a lot lower STR requirement.

So can anyone comment on this build setup?

I'd consider shaeling your shield instead of elding. Trangs has no innate faster block rate and it's painfully slow to watch. I know minus poison resist is really important, but I think you could get more all round benefits if you didn't use the three piece trangs combo.

On a pvp poisoner I would use homonculous as a default shield and deaths web as a default wand, it's a good compromise between offense (+skills, 2 extra points in lower resist, minus poison resist) and defense (chance to block, increased block rate, and resist all). I'd still stash trangs combo though - for duels where you don't need block nor resist (like smiters or hammerdins). But it's just an opinion.

My complete equipment layout would be:

Deaths Web
Trangs glove
Homonculous
Shako
Enigma
Arachnids mesh
Crafted amulet (15 FCR minimum)
Two FCR rings.
resist / FHR rare boots.

Hits 75 FCR, and you can get decent FHR by shaeling your shako or using charms I guess. To swap out to the trangs combo, you have to use that 20FCR circlet to maintain 75 FCR.

How does Death's Web -poison res work? Does it have a radius, like Conviction, or just automatically applied to enemies?

Also, if Dweb is on the switch, can you switch it out to increase damage on an already poisoned character? Or switch it out with a Poison nova released, but before it strikes your target, to increase damage? I'm not sure if my questions are clear...
