I have the following jewels. Which would work the best in my WWS. Its a prefect WWS, 170% ed! :w00t: :thumbsup:

39% ed jewel ( 2 of these)
33% ed/7% FHR
+13 max damage/+43 AR
15% IAS/+5 max damage
+15 max damage/22% extra gold
+1-99 lightning damage/cold resist 8%


*** Going to use on a frostmaiden, (PvM) so IAS is not very important. This WWS has been upped already once. Only need to up it one more time to get to exceptional

depends watever you need...but i like the 39 ed jewel...maybe even the lighting damage/cold reisit jewel

I would rather use a wizendraw or an Ice (if you can afford it) for a frost maiden. And even for a frostmaiden, IAS is important.

Here's what you should socket your WWS with:

Socket 1: Shael rune
Socket 2: Shael rune

Speed is very important. Shaels >> all of those Jewels.


You can't upgrade it any further... there are only 3 classes of weapons, WWS starts as Exceptional, upgrading it once makes it Elite, the highest it can go.

WWS isn't really a Frostmaiden weapon either... it's got no +bow skills, so your Freezing Arrow will be weaker. If you can get your hands on a Lycander's Aim, it will be much better than WWS for your Freezing Arrow damage.

i presume the wws will be used on weapon switch for cold immunes?

Another vote for the Shaels or perhaps the ias/ed jewels you have. Amp wil help the inherent low damage of the bow and you can kill in hell with it. It is a little slower than WF, but it can be done.

Well, I do have 3 of the 4 runes needed to make the runeword ICE. And I just found a +3 skills , 4 0s GMB in hell cows, so I am good to go for that. But thats not for awhile.

I figure I was going to use the WWS when I hit lvl 49 & use it until I can make the Ice runeword. Since its a prefect WWS (170%), I figure I will have some fun with it until its ICE time.

Well, check the rest of your gear. And add as many shaels or IAS jewels as you need to get to the next break point.

Since it is your interum bow just socket the bow with what suits you. If you are not happy with it, Hel it out.:wink3: Take a look at this little beastie (http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot051gf6.jpg) I made with two junk? jewels and mediocre WWS. 70 off weapon IAS is easy(9/3),110 (9/2)shouldn't be that hard to get either.

Ice is a good choise but GMB is a slow bow, would not a ice matriarchal bow be better?
