Need PVP setup to kill

I usually dont play PvP but after several bad experiences with some kids ruined (hostile ppl) my baal games and without having the ability to fight them back, I decided to make a pvp Pali.

One question, what is the best pvp pali build that can beat average pvp player like sorc, barb, asassin (these are the typical moron's chars they used to ruin the game.... occasionally a hammer pali too).

What are the gears for this pali build?

Fist of heaven or smiter paladin is the best for pvp imo.

Smiter:
Wep: Grief or heavens light
Sheild: Exile or zaka
Armor: Chains of honor
Helm: Shako or guialimes face (Spelling?)
Belt: Verdungo
Boots: Gorerider
Gloves: Draculs
Rings: Raven frost :-)

If you plan on still doing PvM, probably a hammerdin is your best choice. Dueling is wicked fun on its own, though. You can make a decent charger for cheap, and they are wicked fun. Make sure you get Grief and you will do unbelieveable physical damage.

Hammerdin/Ranger is actually interesting given Fortitude and a Pally's fanat and the Widowmaker.

remember he is telen baal runs he dont have gear to take on pvp sorc or trapper....

I definately agree. The easiest things are people with range/autohitting attacks. An auradin does fairly well in most duel games, unless they are very good and have strong stacked res, etc. Foh paladins are fun, but I don't know if they would be that good at to the bad guy in pvm games. My personal recommendation would be an orb sorceress, but thats just me. They do well in pvm, and can take down most builds.

Thanks guys. I was using my lvl 89 auradin (my convic, holy shock, zeal and fana from my merc), but the light sorc (lvl 93) hit me dead with one lightning.

This is either I am still a newbie with the duel things, or the sorc has GG gears that I cannot beat.

I was chasing the sorc, and we got ourselves into a close range and I tried to zeal her when she lighted me to dead (my res are all 75 except lightning res is 90).

Should I run around and let the holy shock kill the sorc? What is the duel method I should use in this situation?

If I make an auradin and using fana from merc and my own conviction, will pker conviction beat mine or not

lol auradin it kills way too slow with the pulses, i put 2 dwarfs or wisps on and laugh at the dmg...

like mentioned the only chars that come to mind is the trapper with the infinity merc, or sorc types blizz or fb using mercs and hammer to the fact that hammer can naturally kill most chars with the least amount of skill needed.

If you are a dreamer auradin, then I expect you maxed res lightning. Use it, a lot of light sorcs use es (I dunno about that guy cuz he had massive damage), so conviction does almost nothing to em. Wait until you see an opening, then charge them down, they might not be able to break out of your lock on them, if they do, just repeat.
