Calling out oldschool wolves: Rate my 09 build ^~

Topic. Dose of nostalgia has me wanting another fury, though since I cannot afford one on the realms atm I'm making one on d2 relived. I never had one myself back then so I put together some ideas I'd gotten from various places, mixed them with my own, and this is what I got O_O. Might seem a bit haggard but here goes. I'm mostly in search of where I can improve.

This is a fury vs melee build, 09 style

2x rings with 8 life leech, 20 strength, 15 dex
Shaftshop shael'd

2x 3/20/5 max/ar/fhr scs
38x 3/20/20 max/ar/life scs

I HATE using shaftshop/gaze but I didn't see another practical way to hit 75 dr =/

I'm a bit undecided on stats.
After pumping max block I have 99 stat points left. Finish them into dex or would a lil bit more into vita be more practical? I put them in all dex for the s/s below

It hits 75% dr, max block, 86 fhr, 7 frame fbr, 32 life leech, 72 deadly strike (assuming the 08 hl bug is false), and 4fpa fury ~_____~. As well as the low % of ow / cb on gores.

Only thing I'm a little worried about (other than the aggravating slow block rate) is the AR =/. Seems kinda skimpy for melee dueling. Should I perhaps drop one of the ll/str/dex rings for a raven?

50 DR is the cap by the way, so you can get away with something like a Bered Jalal, though I don't remember what the .09 one had differently besides KB.

I'd recommend at least one Raven since you don't have CBF elsewhere.

Is WW maxed? It seems odd that'd you'd only have that much AR for a pure Fury Wolf.

That's all I have for you. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about .09. Is there a place where I can see the older gear? If so I'll be able to help you more.

Also I recall hearing that CBF is not necessary for any fury that reaches 4fps as slow will not effect it.

And yes, werewolf is indeed maxed. I'm wondering about how I hit such low ar with a pure-dex build as well

CBF can, regardless of your attackspeed, be useful when it comes to mobility.
Maybe switch out the shael in shaftstop for a cham then, and get two more fhr charms? (In case you really want those rings)

Not a whole lot of improvement on 09 stylze but i would say get 11 ll rings w/ life and stats instead of 8 ll. -You can craft 11 ll-.

Another potential perk would be to get good crafted gloves that give:

life leech, 13+ str, good life mod. Lose fhr but you can shoot for the 46 bp. I found in 09 fbr was way more important than fhr ... iirc.

Make sure you use HoW as well if you can ... I have no idea why your ar is so low ... if you made that in sp check to make sure you didnt make a mistake. Most cffk builds i know hit like 35k w/o ar setup and 60k ar w/ it. So i r confused.

edit:lorven ... i believe he is talking all melee duels .. in that case ... if someone runs ... they have to come back right ... not that necessary ... i never used it in 09.

Well dont forget ... iirc in 09 Titans were king. My 09 druid had like 4k life and did very well. The key is to make sure you get that ll because basically a titan can 1 hit almost all of his life to be full w/ enough ll.
