It looks like the old thread had gotten long enough, so here is your shiny new Pricecheck thread.

Some things to keep in mind:
* It is often useful if you post the type of things you are looking for when you post an item for pricecheck. For example: "Can I get A or B for this?" or "How many Pgems do you think this is worth?" or "What TC items could I likely get for this?"
* It is okay to handle minor trades in this thread, but if it starts getting to be a long negotiation (in other words, you can't handle it in just a couple of posts) move it to a trade thead. (Do no move it to PMs, as this violates the trade rules and makes it harder to track items.) If someone posts an item you are interested in in the PC thread, check to see if they have a trade thread active, and start negotiations there. If you actually give a price range for the item you are interested in response to their request for a pricecheck, you can add something along the lines of "I'm interested in this, I'll pop into your trade thread about it."
* Values can vary depending on the person and what they value, since this is a barter system. Any responses you get are just opinions, so keep that in mind.
* Don't forget the item's mod status, as this can affect the price.

It's good for those 125 FC hammerdins with a "Spirit" runeword but thats about it. Not ethereal = not good enough for "exile." You'd get about 12-15 pgems for the shield.

@Cattleya: pricing an ammy like that is insanely difficult, as it probably only useful to you and a few others.
I would say 12-15 pgems, because you need it. Otherwise it's next to nothing.
I'm looking to get a pricecheck on some IK equipment. I'm pretty new to the SPF and have been playing for roughly 1 month. The point of saying that is I don't have a TON of assets. So I'm trying to figure out if it will be possible for me to acquire the following pieces:
IK Soul Cage (yup the rarest one right?) --> think someone would trade pgems for it?
Also I'll need an IK Forge (guantlets).
That's it for now... thx in advance for any help given!

IK forge.. I managed to get a pair for free though I think I was lucky there. Probably about 6 pgems or so depending on the seller/your need for that.
IKSC - I thought saw one of these up for auction (for pgems) a while back though I can't find it now. Unless I'm dreaming, I think it went for about 80 pgems in the end. That's the only time I've ever seen it for trade though.

@sequana, very nice. +min damage jewels with that high damage are in fairly regular demand, and 2 other decent mods should help. I don't know if that's auction-worthy, but I suspect it's close.

Not sure on this one, it is nice, but a bit of a niche item. I'd say 3 useful exceptional Uniques a TC87 to the right person.
Saracen's:
Beaten by a low end mara's or a good rare. I'd say PGs for this one.

a) Unless I am mistaken, you are on NTPP and can't trade one anyway.
b) I don't think anyone with a perfect DF will be trading it. I have seen DFs be swapped for a lower damage one and other items though.

How much (preferably in Pgems) would a Djinn slayer be worth?
Also, how much would a Rockstopper with good resistances be worth?
I plan on using these on my enchantress, hopefully they won't be too expensive.

Some of your resist charms have the maximum resist, which is a good thing, but the second mods are nothing great. Probably perfect gems or low runes for all of them, and not a ton. Desirable second mods to look out for on resist charms include life, fhr, frw, mf.

Both are perfect gems at most, probably less than 5 apiece (or total really), though Rockstoppers can vary quite a bit in the resist department.

Lompo: Dont know about the first one, but the second Gc is prolly worth a Chilling, Entrapping or maybe a Lionbranded skiller, if lucky then altso with a second mod.
DoctorClock: I would say a Ist is worth a Mid-High ED "Oath". But Oaths can roll pretty low, therefor will a High ed one be of more value.

not really - those types of gloves need 20 IAS to be of any value.
Gloves with 2 good mods (in your case, +skills & Lres) are fairly easy to find. Preferably, in addition to IAS, they'd have a 3rd & 4th good mod too, like leech, additional res, str/dex. Example (these are probably worth a decent exceptional unique, but would be more with higher res/str):

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering what price 1.07 loot can fetch. In a world of SP and taint, I am worried that the subset of the population which views using 1.07 gear in 1.11 might make the prospect of farming 1.07 and trading up problematic... which is too bad, because I love trading and playing the economy, but oh well.
The worth while things I've found in 07 so far include:
Arkaine's Valor
Laying of Hands (50% fire absorb)
5os ethereal 'zerker axe with enhanced maximum damage (I don't even want to think about how much a death RW would do in that...)
Balrog skins of every possible kind (1/2/3/4 OS, ethereal, superior, etc)
What is the market for that kind of gear? Or should I not really expect to find buyers?

Mara's(any roll) is not exactly "pgem stuff". It would be worth surely over a hundred, maybe two, but few people are stockpiling such amounts so the demand would be limited. I would not trade away a mara's for pgems.

Also, I think a low-end Mara's (+22 is low-end) can go for PGems. I guesstimate that an auction for a +22 Mara's could net ~75 PGems. Price based on similar auction results for rare and popular items.
DISCLAIMER: While the value of PGems has increased somewhat since my *cough*short*cough* break, I'm still no pricing expert.

@CelciusXII: I think almost nothing / PGs. Sure the damage and IAS make it better in many ways than Wraith Flight, but it is only really useful for a thrower barb. And if you are going to build a thrower, I would say Demon's Arch / Gimmershred is a better bet.

And also, for future reference, if you are unhappy with a trade with me, 9 out of 10 times its a misunderstanding. Leaving me negative feedback for including a pskull seems unnecessary. Like I said in the PM, I didn't realize that pskulls weren't counted as pgems these days and would have gladly substituted.
@liq - I count pskulls as pgems, always have.

Two quick comments here:
(1) Trades need to be out in the open, so remember none of this "PM me if interested" stuff.
(2) Pskulls are Pgems for trade purposes. If you don't want Pskulls, you need to specify it as a part of the trade. Pskulls work in the Pgem rerolling recipes, and if you are looking for specific crafting gems, that needs to be specified.
Edit: @Thyiad: It depends greatly on what the ED is. Are you looking for high end or low end? (or perfect? :grin: )

I would have posted the trade here in this forum eventually. I took my time as I was still quizzing people on MSN on whether or not pskulls were pgems.
3 pgems (or 2 pgems and 1 pskull) for Celcius' glaive. Trade complete.

Unfortuately I disagree, Magazons are rare and Fletcher Skillers are not really used for anything else. The Sharp GC is not a +10 but still decent, and can be used for any physical damage character.
Is the Sharp GC of Vita available for trade? I'm interested in it. (RWM/RRM)

CelciusXII, every once in a while jewels like that can be useful to someone, but it's pretty rare. ~5-10 PGems is my guess.
Zarfen, ~20 PGems each (for plain ones). They're worth less than (in no particular order) :
- entrapping
- all 3 types of sorc skillers
- lionbranded
- harpoonists
- fungal
- druid elemental (probably)
... and worth more than
- Hexing
- Pally Defensive (I don't remember what they're called)
... and about the same as everything else

I think that one ticks all the boxes - FCR, Resists, +skills and Teleport charges. I'd love it for my hammerdin, but it's probably out of my price range.
I think you are into decent EUs and runes Ist+ for the right buyer. Auction it or save it for your hammerdin - you will get into the build one day and regret parting with the amulet.

Unfortunately, probably about 10 pgems more than a plain one - unless you find someone with a singer (however, singers aren't exactly a popular build). Otherwise, most sounding GC's are used exclusively for prebuffing, and therefore the secondary mod is completely unimportant.
I guess if someone has a 'horker', it might be nice... :scratch:

@Zali: I've never seen psn dmg that high on a charm before. I think it'd be used best on a WW barb. You could poison a huge crowd in no time. Sorry, dunno on a price though.

Someone mentioned about Tal Rashas items and I would like to know how much the amulet, staff and belt are worth. The amulet seems to be waluable as I checked at ATMA its pretty rare. - Tals belt isn't worth much: ~10 PGems
- Tals orb depends somewhat on the +Mastery bonuses. If it's +2 Fire/Cold/Lightning mastery (as opposed to +1), it makes a difference. Assuming yours is average (2F/1C/1L or similar): ~20 PGems
- Tals ammy is pretty popular: ~50 PGems
- Goreriders are popular too, but more common: ~30 PGems
- Hwanin's isn't very popular: ~5 PGems
- Vipermagi depends signficantly on the variable resist all. If it's a perfect 35% resistances, it's signficantly more valuable than even a 32. If it's a low-end (25% resistances or lower) it's correspondingly less valuable: 20-50 PGems
@heskla, basically what Naab said. You could probably get anything but the top ~10 items in the game. Since you're still in the NTPP, I'd suggest you hang onto it until you're out of probation, since you probably wouldn't get fair trade-value with the restrictions placed on new traders.

Just a trading noob question about GCs...

You can do almost as well damage wise from a decent small charm. (Actually, you can do better on the lightning side of things, which matters more for an enchantress, who's enchant damage will drown out the fire damage on the charm.) It would be nice to use while leveling or until you got something better, but it's not going to have a very high trade value.

@Darkooooo: M'avinas should go for a good exceptional or common elite, not because of the power of the item itself, but rarity.
@bmathew: Burning charms are useful for a common and strong sorc build: the meteorb. The first one will get price of a plain, since it's second mod is rather useless for a sorc, but the second one can get other nice skillers or even elite items, especially it it is for PvP
what is a 1.07 eth zerker axe worth? 4 or 5 open socket. Also what is a 1.11 eth zerker axe worth? And what exactly is the difference between the two, does the 07 have higher max but lower min than the 1.11? Thanks.

Yeah, that's why I said that I'm not very sure. It doesn't have that great stats for a TC 87 items but it's very rare.
How do you value Hel rune? Compared to PG's or something else...

@Heskla: I'd say Demon's Arch is comparably good (if not better) for a throwbarb. A Hel rune is worth 5-8 pgems IMO.

WOW, 99 AR a level?!?! interesting, I have never seen anything like THAT. hm, I would pay at least a Mal Rune for it. That is AMAZING for assassin, it is WAY more powerful then any unique claws. So, I would pay a TC 81+ for it if I was on Probation. but that's just me =)

helska, cestus is nice but we're usually looking for ED to go along with fools. gloves are nice but we're usually looking for some IAS. we = melee assasins.

Dont let Aman get his hands on that cirlet :badteeth: I would say it has some value, since many sins look for nice rare circlets for PvP and that one has Tele, so no need for h4x items like Nigma.
EDIT: I misread FRW for FCR, but its still nice.
I traded a nice sirclet with aman some time ago, almost regret it now. :D
But that's trading and being a noob. I am. That was +2 Assa skills, 20 FCR +19 AllRes + 2 sockets Lucky Aman!

If i read it correctly: You got two facets, 2xNagelrings, Fire skiller, 4os Monarch, Tal's Armor, 3x 7%MF SC for that Circlet... IMHO that was a very good and fair trade... I would never give so much useful items for a circlet. But that's just one mans opinion...

I think pricing this one is very hard, since rares like there are quite, well.. whatsitcalled.., rare.
Depending on the wealth/level of crazy of the buyer you could walk away from a deal either happy or very very happy. If that circlet would have 2os instead of FCR and +2 skills instead of +1, the price on that thing would melt the trade forum. But as you can see the level of interest is high enough already.
My advice: make a wish list, put up an auction thread, and stop spamming the price check thread. :wink3:

The other 2 has potential, the soul horn has the wrong necro skilltree, fcr doesn't do much for a summoner.
the middle one is nic efor a barb I guess, finding respectable double leech on a helm is nice, as well as the skill and resists. However there are uniques who matches this I'm afraid, and ring's can easily come with dual leech, making coa or arreats more attractable imo.

As Zarfen said there are a lot of better unique, and for a barb almost nothing is better than Arreats, which is an exc unique (thus not so rare neither costly) and is way superior to your circlet. That said I think that could be useful to some other char too for the res+dual leech (but no +skills). my opinion is that I wouldn't trade it for more than 5-10 pgems
@Zarfen - Yeah, I feel a bit stupid rating Celsius circlet low, and later post mine. My thought was that +1 more or less dont affect ama as much as sorcs or necro's, and here you have some mana.

Also, many people are making fishymancers, and with out suped enigmas to get teleport from, charges are appealing.
Therefore, amu's with teleport are very nice.
As for the circlets, awsome circlets with +2skills, fcr, resists, stats, sockets etc. are very valuable on the net as well. I once (years ago, when I was on the net) traded a necro circlet I gambled (cant remember stats more than skills, stats juicy mods) for a enigma bp + ohm, and that was before hr's went for pgems :P

The War Staff is probably worth about 35K from your favorite vendor in Hell. :wink3:
I'm not sure on the shield. The level requirement makes it nice for lower levels, but a decent Rhyme shield will be able to beat it when you hit level 29. It's probably worth a few Pgems.

the war staff was looked sweet to me, but 35k is not a bad price too :tongue:
the shield is very useful until NM, Shael never dropped to me before NM, so i'll keep it for my low level chars i think

A straight swap with your poison bone skiller for an ele isn't out of the question. Both seem ranked pretty equally from my experiences.
The fine small isn't worth much because it lacks a good second mod.

Edit: What a SoJ could get me? I'm currently a little bored from Diablo 2, and I may go for RRM/RWM just to get some items in order to build a very powerfull caster. Blizzardress and Lightning Amazon come to mind, but I really wouldn't like to make one-single element caster. A fishyzon, a trapsin or a meteorb would be nice.

its really hard to beat arreat's face w/ a barb circlet - the only thing missing on the helm is fcr, which is only applicable for highly specialized singer builds.

I highlighted only those mods that were similar to the circlet. If I would want to highlight all the good on I might as well highlight the whole helm:grin: . As pwangsta said that would be a great singer circlet if it had 20FCR

@Heskla: A runemaster should be in 20-30 pgems range, for the Gris cadeceus I'm not sure if it can be paid with PGems, but if it is, it should be in the 25-35 pgems range.
@Lompo: All those charms and jewels are worth an auction each. They can all get every sort of elite unique in the game. But maybe you should say where you got those, especially the ruby jewel of fervor, since a perfect roll is very very very very very very hard to get on those

The 90 lev. sc and the jewel come from cubing, the toxic sc was found during pit runs.

Just to clarify, charms from 1.09 (where ilvl 90 is common) change their version tag to 1.10+ when rerolled in 1.1x.

No problem with your statements because if they help to clear things are welcome.
I don't understand why asking for items in a giveaway rise souspicion. In any case I asked items I was looking for: Reaper (for wich I'm actually bidding in the auction), Crow caw wich I asked in a trade just before the giveaway, the 2 tal rasha items completed the set (and I traded for the armour a while ago), Arkaine was on my trade list (I was looking for a +2 one) and I asked for it in several trading posts, while the hammer I hoped to get a better one (CB%) than what I already got. I've seen that someone was generously giving them away and I asked for them.
As for the items I own, I'm not very rich in terms of items and rune because I don't like to do houndreds of MF runs on the same target, but I prefer questing (without much attention to MF gear), that means that I don't find many of these, but I do find a lot of gems which I use to cube (and I stated that many month ago in my trader profile).
In any case the chance to cube a steel of vita sc are higher than a single res of vita, which is not so rare to be seen in the trading forum, while that jewel has the same chance to appear as a ruby (resist) one of fervor (which I bough some times ago) and a scintillating of anything is rarer, according to the affix calculator.
I'm actually using some of those items (steel sc and toxic) and I was keeping the jewel for the IKSC of my actual IK barb project.
I asked for PC because those items are not often traded and, having read that you could maybe put a SoJ on the market in the short future, and because that is one of my main goal, I decided to see if I have the weapons to compete for it.
I hope that my explanation satisfy you, although in these cases the most important thing is trust, which I hope I earned in more than one year of activty in this forum, because I don't really know how I can demonstrate my good faith.
lompo, just make sure you know that IAS won't help your WW with a barb if the jewel is put in anywhere but the weapon :wink:

The jewel was meant to go in the hammer along with another jewel of fervor, cause you need 30 ias to reach the final bp with that weapon and you have 2 sockets (I already traded for the armour).

Please don't do this. It would be an unholy sin. Unless you are playing IK Barbarians exclusively I would save that/those jewels for trading or for some EXTREMLY good items. IK maul deserves two Shael runes and nothing more. Just my opinion though :wink3:
@Heskla: A 21 Maras will get you a lot (~75) Pgems, or a good deal of useful uniques. Or some rare ones. If I traded, I would gladly pay for example Shako, Skullders, good War Travs and Occulus for it. ( If you are into MF with sorcs) Generally Mara's are paid good for. Yours is a low-end one but still pretty valuable.
I need help concerning item values, is it correct to sell 5/5 lightning facet for Skullders, or should I add something?

As I said no problem at all, if explanations are needed to make people more confortable at trading they are welcome. I enjoy to be part of this forum and to trade with other players, so I'll gladly do that in order to mantain my status.
As for my jewel it's good to know that, I'll have to think very well before auctioning it (have a very clear priority ISO), because these occasion want happen often.

the gloves, belt, boot's and crusher are often very cheap, and they are pretty common to find when mf'ing as well. I don't know about the helm, but I think that could be pretty cheap as well.
As for the armor (IKSC), that's often very expensive, due t oit's rarity and high tc class (?)
Can't say a real price though, since I've seen it go for pgems in one of those auctions, but from my experience it's trade material for other high end items.

I agree w/ A_M on this one, Heskla. Personally, I'd rather have a guardian's of life everlasting rather than a scintillating one. Not that its bad, per se, but since its specialized for a non-cookie cutter build that has other options available, its not gonna be that valuable.
