no cyclone armor = casters cut right trough you
armagedon = hard to get a hit with, probably use a combo of armaghedon, volcano and firestorm

helm = ravenlove! (no discution here)
gloves = magefists (the same, +1 fire skill, 20% FCR, mana regen... kick *** gloves )

the rest of the equipment is just like a windy. Hoto, Enigma, 2x FCR ring, Mara/rare with resist, life, mana, others , trecks/shadowdancers/waterwalks, stormshield/spirit, arach, CTA+spirit on switch.

you could go with The Rising Sun amulet against FB sorcs but basicly you will be a P v Melee char.

just my 2 cents:rolleyes:

I don't normally play PvP, but here are my thoughts:
- You definitely need Enigma to teleport
- Your main skills are probably Fissure (especially for non-teleporting players) and Firestorm. Volcano and Molten Boulder can too easily be avoided, and Armageddon is too unpredictable.
- As hhhrobi mentioned, you'll miss Cyclone Armor a lot.
- It's a difficult build for PvP, I think. Especially dealing with teleporting casters will be pretty hard.

Don't build this like a Windy >.>. Fire Druids are one of the few casters where you're better off saving Teleport for when you really need to get away. That said, you only really need the 63 FCR BP to be effective. Remember that ALL fire skills have a cooldown time. The only thing FCR effects on them is the initial cast.

So for FCR you'd need Magefist, Arach, HotO. Or you can go max DR and use HotO, Magefist, FCR ring. Then you could use SS and Dungos.

Do note though that if you're not going to tele like crazy that you'll need ~150+ FRW. This means that Ele Lifers will take a backseat to Ele FRW GCs.

Volcano is a caster/Zon killer. If you drop it right under their feet you'll block lock them as well as kill them. For Zons you'll dodge lock them. Molten Boulder isn't terribly useful since it can be blocked. Fissure kills if you know how to use. Remember that the faster they go through it, the more it hurts. I'm one of the people who thinks Geddon is a waste of time. I'd personally spend the points maxing Oak Sage.

My two cents, hope that helps.

I agree with verashiden, alot of people seem to think a fire druid is exactly like a windy.
It's not at all. You need very little FCR as all your skills are on cooldown timers, the only thing it would help with is teleporting. Something alot of people will argue you dont need for this build.
