Noob quesions from DaveW

Hi guys Im new to SP trading. I play 1.11b SP SC vanilla but am thinking of adding the RRM and RWM mods. I take it these are sanctioned by the forum.
Will adding these have an effect when I play on Battlenet?

Secondly is there a way of transferring items from my SP characters to my US EAst characters?

And finally how exactly do we send items to fellow traders from our SP characters? BTW I use ATMA for stashing purposes. Such a cool program.

I think you have the wrong forum. There is a US East Trading Forum for you. This is a non-bnet trading forum.

1) No idea whether RWM/RRM has an affect on Bnet, I don't play online.

2) I don't think there's a way to do this. SP is closed off from anything except TCP/IP and open Bnet, so if you're trying to get something onto a closed Bnetter you're pretty much out of luck, sorry.

3) You create a new stash/mule in ATMA, drop the items to be traded in the stash/mule, then email the file to the person you're trading with. Simple as that, really!

I still think it's the wrong forum. Mixing SPF stuff with Open Bnet stuff is not considered acceptable here, and I wanted to discourage it implicitly. All of his questions can be better answered on the USEast Forum.

Assuming you are playing Closed B.net and SP:
1) RWM should have no effect on B.net, but RRM will, and so should not be used on B.net as I believe it will violate the B.net Terms of Service. You can set up seperate shortcuts for modded and unmodded, be sure to use the unmodded one on B.net.

2+3) Crimson Flame got these.

If you are playing Open B.net:
#1 doesn't matter, but you should be upfront about the mods with anyone you play with. (Although they may be running much worse.) Open B.net is a problem because of the hacks. If you have been playing on Open, then you will not be able to trade any items that have had any contact with Open. If this is the case, PM me for more info before you trade.

Edit: Apologies to all. Someone here told me that USWest/USEast etc. was "Open" Bnet. I just came from Arreat Summit, and I know differently now. I thought he already was playing on "Open" Bnet since he was on USEast. Nvm someone, pretty please, shoot me now. :)

Thx for the info. I think its better if I stay unmodded in my SP playing. And thx for the info on trading via email. Very helpful. Cheers all.
