Kick Assasin vs Werewolf

Me and a freind (Celtic-Thug)has some duels with my werewolf and his relativly new kick sin.

If you play a fury/ rabie wolf and want to do decent vs assasin that are more melee orientated then trappers or trap/ww ill try to give a few suggestions and gear choices.

~ Slap on Bramble prefferably on with high pd% like 45%+ , not only will it boost your rabies but the posion res you get from it is a must vs any melee sin.
~ Atmas scarab can offer you even more poison res 75% and the amp curse is not to be laughed at either.

With those two items alone you can make sure her poison wont rip you apart as fast as it normally would since you should now have 75% stacked posion resist. If you are fighting a ww/trapper try to stack your light res as high as possible or you can sorb with t-god.

Simple tactic is to try and infect with rabies then use the rabies switch trick and either let the rabies drain her down or chase her and finish off with fury.


As for a strategy for a melee sin to vs a fury / rabie wolf.

~ Stack your poison resist as high as possible and still try to mantain high dr( Coa and fade maybe eh?)

And also never attempt to kick a wolf with out any traps set or when the wolf is not stunlocked , you simply wont be able to tank a fury wolf usin kicks with out him stunned from traps or mb.

He was using a Lacerator and im not sure if he switched it between any of the duels.

Yup , but i know for sure he was usin lacerator before he went to playin with the bow since amp casted on me in one of the first few duels.

Whats the main weapon kickers use for kick most of the time?

Dweb , fleshripper and lacerator would be the few effective ones?

i dueled zaichiek and he uses fleshripper + arachnid on his kicker, 30% slow ftw.
you should try duel your friend when he uses that set up .

Nothing is wrong with it. With my sin (3.1k life, max poison res with 65 stacked) a solid Rabies from that wolf (wearing bramble) will kill me. There's also very little you can do to resist rabies.

Btw, I think (heck, I know) that a sin can put up a better fight than that, so hopefully we'll get that fraped some time.

You know assasins cant put up a good fair fight , they have to play dirty and set traps to hurt my paws like the dirty little scoundrels they are.

ps* when you kick fight vs my wolf dont fade , set traps , bo or cast burst of speed. That will allow your assasin to survive longer!

First off, he put on bramble, which was retarded. Always wear enigma on a kicksin when facing anything. Second off, he never trap locked you before moving in. Third he cast sm, which allows your rabies to be put on him I believe.

You dont need to call my bud trash , if he puts on enigma he loses the posion resist from bramble wich would mean rabies would ko him in less then 4 seconds.

I'm not Celtic or kibs, but when I duel kick vs. wolf I use Bramble because the Wolf doesn't teleport and I think it's a more fun duel. Its possible to go with nigma and widow and mostly trap/bow the wolf to death, but the point is to fight with kicks.

(Not saying this makes the best kicksin, just that IMO vs. a Wolf its the most fun.)

He shouldn't have to lose poison res from bramble, his poison should be max/stacked. He's a caster killer. I'm not saying he should kill you entired with traps, but a wof/ls traplock with mb, teleport in, kick, let you bleed, run back. So on and so forth. You'll never get out of a wof/ls/kick with mb stun.

When I had my old kicksin, I needed bramble against most melee type characters. The double application of the +damage is too good to let up. Having more poison res helps it even more because he can tank a longer rabies, and without it, although the character screen says you might have 75 poison resist, with the dweb flash, without a bramble, it would still be difficult to maintain that resistance.

I'm just wondering, but have you ever made and practiced with a werewolf, or some other type of shifter or non-teleport non-charge character. At the start, long range characters own ya, but with practice you learn how to dodge them, and get to the other guys. Its hard, but possible.

Did you ever get good gear and start making ones made for pvp. I'm not trying to be mean or start a flame war or anything, but with these types of characters, they need pretty good gear built mainly for pvp to do well. For example, lots of pvm fury druids i've played with don't have max block, or use two handeds. They also probably don't have the high frw that is needed, or hit all of the breakpoints. But then again, I don't know all of the gear or stats you used :wink3: .

Thats not the point... The point is that Ollie wants to go at least somewhat toe to toe with wolfie so it will at least be a fun duel. Anyone can run, tele and spam GA, we already know that.

Nah it only took me like 2 months of stumbling across someone sellin an ethereal Tombreaver , and even then its only 274% ed its not a perfect one. I Still use it regurally.

Both are very nice depending on the situation.

Usaully you would use eth tomb vs anything that you cant block like spells or smite.

Use grief and Storm vs anything that you must block escpecially attacks like guided arrows , whirl wind , zeal etc...

I tried fightin Ollies Kick assasin a few times with eth tomb and was only able to get lucky and kill him one time out of like 6 trys with it.
