what would be better to make? sorc with energy shield and bearform chant sorc? or a druid FC?

based on what you guys know and how uve fought against them if you have, what would be your best bet? gear is NOT a problem for me

Both builds are a bit off the beaten path, and look like a lot of fun. I've seen some interesting ideas for a zealsorc using dual "dreams" and "passion" and bearsorc sans zealing weapon: (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=471447). I've also seen recommendations for using a demon limb (since this is pvp) for the enchant charges, allowing you to max fire mastery and warmth on the fire tree for more enchant damage. This also allows you to max lightning mastery and if you go the safety route, telekinesis and energy shield. Lightning mastery really boosts holy shock damage to the weapon - functioning like the double application of poison with Trang's gloves. It adds a percent to the listed damage and again when it hits if I recall correctly. With a solid e-shield and warmth, the zealsorc looks like it could tank too. In bearform you'd want to use the fc staple crazy ias phase and the same skill layout. Only real difference here would be a single attack as opposed to zeal.

That said, fc druids are a blast too (you've got the link for this one). While they don't have a dual elemental attack, you'll have a bunch more ar and life than the sorc in either form proabably from an actual maxed skill and a shifting bonus from skillers, respectively. Unshifting and using fissure against slower/less mobile melee is fun, as is dropping volcanoes under 'zons feet and inducing dodgelock.

Both look like a lot of fun, I guess it really comes down to whether you want a single dual-elemental attack & e-shield or a single-element attack with some other support skills (ravens, fissure, volcano, possible 1 pt. summons for distraction)

Sorcs are a joke, the bears can be decent, in a way they can deal insane damage over time probably greater than any other character in the game. Only problem being, catching your opponent.

Well, they could do what Kiba does; re-shift and teleport.

However, one key factor is that their damage is purely that of Fire, thus easily negatable. Or well, it's not like they can dish any damage with that 6 shael PB of theirs...

Meh zeal sorcs even with completely perfect gear are bad. FC druids are uber pro, lots and lots of damage. :)

fc druids are fun. In pubs most people accuse me of mauling them to death.

kaython, by chant sorc, i meant, chantress dmg, with "Beast" transformation, only real diff is Life(druid, also the fire synergies as an attack) and energy shield absorb, which may or may not help me out alot, thats why i was wondering which would be Most efficient

Fire claws druid, you can mf all day and never find the things you'll need to make a decent one.
Chant sorcs suck.

Both are nice, though personally I value the extra survivablility of FC bears over the raw dmg of chantsorcs (who can get crazy damage with dual dreams ^_^)

I also happen to be partial to druids >_>

I would go with the fireclaw bear for one key reason... prebuffing. I have had a dreambear which is completely fun, especially in melee duels against zealers, wolfies, etc.. Both are pretty difficult to beat smiters with.

With a bearsorc, you have to prebuff with cta, usually demon limb, and then use beast. However, with a bear, you can just have cta on switch, and the fireclaw skill usually gives enough ar for no need of a demon limb.

On the other hand, the sorc's dual dreams do pulses which damages the enemy, making them go on the offensive. Its easier to kill a charging smiter than a smiter, because you can actually block them. Then against, you can always unshift and leave a fissure on the other guy to make him go offensive, then reshift.

In the end its just your opinion. I would make a fc bear just because I've already made the dreamer, and want to try something new. But for your, its your choice of damage (sorc) or survivability (druid).
