Hi Folks,
I still looking for ideas for my next build. I enjoy Druids and want to try a Werewolf. I recently acquired a Stormlash and have a Stormshield on one of my mules so I'd like to build something with max block. If I Shael the Stormlash, how will that fare on a Werewolf? What build would it best be suited for?
Please post particulars.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to reply in my own thread however, I've since looked up a shaeled stormlash in the wereform speed calculator and a Fury Werewolf can reach a max 5 frame speed rate with a minimal investment in Werewolf (3 or so). No amount of off weapon IAS appears to improve the attack speed. That said, a 5 frame attack is pretty good. That combined with all the niceties in stormlash like 33% crushing blow, 1-473 lightning damage and CTC lvl 18 Tornado and lvl 10 Static Field, make it an appealing choice. Does anyone have any experience with a Werewolf build and Stormlash?
For all you Wolf Packs out there, I've taken the liberty to translate the above into Canis Lupus:
Arwooooo, yip, bark, yip, snarl, bark, bark, yip, pant, pant, Bark, pant, sniff, scratch, bark.
Try adding a cool jewel to ss
get a beter 1 handed wep i recomend grief pb
40% ias

Thanks Awoo,
I just happen to have a spare Grief PB that I can use. Still not decided on actual build however.
20+ Lycan/20+ Carrion vine/20+Rabie/20+Fury
All other remain Skills add to oak
Str: 65-75
Im not sure
Dex: 80-90
Rest to vita
Im not to sure about dex n str cuz my gear contains ceartin rares that add alot stats
So ya start with those lowest stats And if gear dsnt all fit try adding a tad bit more also do this after lvl 80
Cheers

Why would you waste all those points into Carrion Vine? One point would be enough since you get sever diminishing returns after it hits like level 8. Also, is this for PvM or PvP? For PvM You can tru a Coyote build and max Hunger then taking the Rabies points and putting them into Dire Wolf or something. For PvP, Depends on your style >.>.
EDIT- Oh, I think Awoo meant Poison Creeper and not Carrion Vine, the build makes sense then. Just know that without Rabies Switch Gear Rabies is horrible in PvM.

I think he ment poison creeper. They are confusing to remaber. Well for me any ways. Just get that dumb vine thing that makes windys think your hacking because they cant attack it for some resson. You know the one with that thing that covers the ground with like vines that like tangle hammys legs and then fall down and have to cry to theyre mommys because they got a bobo. Wile your blissfully nawing one one of theyre honey coated ears again. You know that snake looking thing.

This is an interesting build option. I played with it a bit in the German Build Planner. So what I have is:
20 Werewolf
20 Lycanthropy
20 Fury
20 Rabies
20 Poison Creeper
It will take 94 skills points or so for the final build so one of them has to be maxed last so that the build is usuable in Hell. I was thinking either Werewolf or Lycanthropy. It has two main attacks, poison and physical however, no source of leach or additional life.
this is a pk Build
20 to Pois Creeper
20 Lycan
20 Rabie
20 Fury
REst to oak
Lycan add Life Why its much beter then Werewolf
Your gear will make up the Ias/ Ar
I have 4.6k Life ( No oak )
And 16k Ar
And i make Bp Ias
NO WEREWOLF NO NO NO N ON ON ON ONONONON O NO NO NO NO N O N ONONONONO NO NO N ON ON ON

Keep in mind you still have one point in feral rage - charge up and fury - the red bulb on the bottom of the screen will fill up pretty quick. Feral does fine as a one point wonder like this. Also if you're furying with an ebotd weapon you'll leech nicely, save undead (Drac's could be a decent remedy to this, especially if you're using "grief" as you mentioned). As far as the skills go, I'd max rabies and werewolf last if this is for pvm. The poison from creeper mats against crowds might be more effective than rabies in hell, and the ar and ias from werewolf can always be bumped as you need it. Hope that helps.

This sounds interesting, I think I'll give it a go.
Thank you everyone for your ideas and suggestions:)

Ok, I crunched the numbers and this is what I came up with:
Werewolf 1
Lycanthropy 20
Feral Rage 1
Rabies 20
Fury 20
Poison Creeper 20
That's 82 Skills Points.
I toyed with adding Oak sage or HoW however, the build will then require 102 or 103 Skill Points which means I won't be done until lvl 91 or 92 which is a little higher than I want to finish. Should I put 10+ points into Oak or HoW, or should I just place the points into Werewolf for the increased damage? Personal experience with HoW and Oak sage tells me that they need to be maxed in order to survive in hell.
I'll have 10 extra skill points into all skills and another 7 or 8 into ShapeShifting with the gear I plan to use. The Rabies damage is through the roof and looks like it will be a very viable attack. The physical damage also looks awesome especially considering I will be either using a Grief PB or a eBOTDz. Opinions on weapon selection welcome.

Even maxed the spirits won't live long with a melee oriented build. If you don't like recasting spirits at the end of each skirmish then I'd suggest you pour the remaining points into Werewolf.
Oh, and for PvM Ribby > All
