Do you mean a "grief" axe as in the runeword? The + damage will add to your physical damage, so in a sense no. Granted the chance-to-cast venom may get around this, but it'll be slow.

There are a bunch of options for dealing with physical immunes for wolfs. Some cheap one's would be an Azurewrath phaseblade or a Baranar's star - both deal some hefty magic and/or elemental damage and allow you to still use a shield - adding Tiamat's Rebuke for the shield will add even more elemental damage. You could also get an Atma's Scarab amulet (with ctc amplify damage) and still use the "grief"/SS setup without any switches. Another option would be to equip an act 2 merc with a Reaper's Toll or an act 1 rogue with a "wrath" bow for the same effect; just be sure to load either of them up with lots of ias ("treachery" armour really shines here) to set off the curse more readily. The ctc decrepify will remove physical immunity in most cases. Hope that helps.

As far as two-handers go, they deal a lot of physical damage, and most uniques have one type of elemental damage. One option if you're set on a two-hander would be the "famine" which provides a lot of elemental damage and has ias. "Lawbringer" and "rift" also have some elemental damage, but no ias which is needed on a shifter's weapon. The only downside is the axes and maces you can make famine in will have a high str requirement. You may be better off using a weapon/shield switch for immunes.

Because it's SLOW >.>. Azure is your best bet for one hander. Most phys immunes are also undead. Sanctuary > them.

Else just throw on Atma's Scarab and have the CtC Amp break the immunity.

Lawbringer is a good low level alternative. Just slow >.>

Ok Shadow the thing about what we do when we pick a weapon to use. Is that we look at the weapons attack speed number/numbers. And make shure the weapon at least hits the 5fps fury break point before we ok it. Then after that we look at the damage we can deal with that weapon. Thats how we deside if a weapon is good or not. Like most werewolf players here will pick a ribcracker over a last wish for uber slaying. Just because of the fact that ribbys meet the break points needed wither lastwish doesnt.

Like my personal poormans weapon for a werewolf is eth oath weapons. I like eth oath crytic swords, eth oath scrouges, eth oath champion axes, and last eth oath feral axes. If I cant get one of those I get my mitts on a ik mual double shealed, or wind hammer shealed.

Lordx I love your countrys army! Its anti terrorist forces are the best in the world!

But also know that you shouldnt use a greif axe in a werewolf. You should stick to useing a greif phase blade. Other wise it wont be effective. And never ever use a greif 2 handed weapon. The damage will not be high enough to meet the godly 2 handed weapons werewolves use.
