Lost Homonculus

Hi. My first time posting here after longtime lurking.

While rearranging my summoner's inventory recently, I put my homonculus and my cairn shard on the ground, picked them back up and had re-equipped them when a dreaded lag spike struck and my connection was interrupted. Needless to say my game no longer existed and neither did the items. Lesson learned - never put anything on the ground that you can't go without. C'est la vie.

Anyway I had forgotten where I had found them. Where would the best places for mfing those items be? I would like to go for another homoculus. What about the other good summoner wands? The shard was good but I could go for a better one if you know where it could be found.

Arg happenes to me a couple of times...Even worse is the remote chance that white itms (or socketed) dissapear right off the ground in cases of mass lags... Anyway, if you can help it don't drop anything valuable on the ground. If you are full try to drop the useless stuff when rearranging.

Homu and a decent necrowand (ume's) are dirt cheap right now. I would give them free if u were on Europe... Try trading them both for an Um if you got 1...

Where do you play?

I play USEast nonladder.

To clarify, I'm not looking to trade or take charity (altough I won't pass it up either, hehe). I am willing to go out and hunt for it myself. I just don't know the best area to hunt in. I was hoping one of the gurus here could point me in the right direction.

Well NM Memp can drop all exceptional class specific items and homunculus ia one of em :P However on west they are dirt cheap and you better off cowing/pits or cubing flawless gems to perfects and trading socketables or perfect gems for a homunculus hehe

Download atma (http://atma.diabloii.net/). It's a muling application for single player used by most on the single player forum, but it also features a dropcalc that can answer your "who drops what?" questions. Hell Shenk has dropped the last three that I have found. Don't even need Enigma to run him, and you can go lay the smack down on his annoying friend Eldrich while you're out there.
