Ok, so I'm not actually a newbie but I've hit on a newbie sort of question...

I've just killed Baal on Nightmare and was looking forward to my first foray into Hell... but i can't select it when I create a new game... what's that all about?

I've never made it this far before so I don't understand.. do I need to be a certain level to get into Hell? I think I am level 70.

When you killed Baal, did you look at your questlog beforehand? It might have said "You cannot complete this quest in this game" This will always happen in a game created by someone that has already killed Ball in that difficulty (NM). Create a game for killing Baal yourself and it should work fine.

I always do quest stuff on private games.. so I killed Baal on my own game....

I lost some serious goodies by allowing others to be involved in completing my quests so I don't allow it now.. I do it on my own or not at all!!!!

Exit to the character selection screen. Relog on with the character you just completed Nightmare with. You should be able to make Hell games with that character now.

I tend to swap and change, prefer to play USwest coz everyone speaks english... gets complicated when I can't speak french/german/spanish/outer mongolian.

It's just sometimes both are slow.. I'm assuming it's when it's busy with lots of people playing....
